Reviews
Excellent veterinarian! Very friendly to clients and my animals. Highly recommended. I find Ms. Moosheimer very personable and she truly takes excellent care of animals. She explains everything calmly and has a wonderful way with animals. Prices are perfectly reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice ❤️ I will continue to use your services. The best practice I know. Thank you so much, Ms. Moosheimer
Highly competent and holistic treatment; our dog had severe abdominal pain and was barely responsive. He was seen immediately and treated with loving care. A clear recommendation – we've found our new vet!
Unfortunately, my visit to this veterinary practice was more than disappointing. I took my dog there twice, and both times I received a completely wrong diagnosis. The dog's condition worsened day by day. I then took him to another vet who immediately identified the cause and treated him correctly. I had to go back three more times because the illness had progressed so far. After that, thankfully, everything was fine again, and the dog is now doing very well. On top of that, in August, I got an ear ointment from Dr. Moosheimer that cost €39 (the same ear ointment costs €25 at the competent vet, just so you know), which then expired in September (I only realized this when I got home). I confronted Dr. Moosheimer with the whole situation and explained everything to her calmly. Unfortunately, all I got was, "Thank you for letting me know, but there's nothing I can do about it now!" All in all, very disappointing and absolutely not recommended!
We took our cat to her for neutering. Everything went well, and we were treated kindly and with great care, as was our cat. Dr. Moosheimer and her team come highly recommended.
Positive: Very quick appointment, friendly reception, and good handling of my cat. Negative: Only an X-ray was taken, and gastritis was diagnosed immediately – this isn't a definitive diagnosis, as gastritis can't be detected on an X-ray. Neither blood tests nor an ultrasound were performed. Furthermore, the practice uses methods like vibrations/a wand to determine what my cat supposedly tolerates, which is completely unacceptable in this profession. I felt like I was in a bad movie. I was also told that my cat shouldn't eat for 24 hours. However, I learned from Fressnapf (a pet store chain) and other sources, as well as from cht gpt (a German pet website), that if it is gastritis (which isn't even certain yet), you absolutely shouldn't give him anything at all, as this will make it much worse. I'm now giving him a few spoonfuls of food every few hours. Payment is only possible in cash; I didn't receive a debit card or a detailed invoice. Overall, the visit was unsatisfactory, and I won't be going back to this practice.
