One Sunday, we arrived at Dr. Geschke's and her team's clinic in utter despair with our little Bolognese dog. We'll certainly never forget that day… our dog Mafin had been unexplainedly ill for about nine months and barely wanted to eat, let alone walk. The three veterinarians we had consulted up to that point hadn't been able to really help us. On that day, his condition had deteriorated significantly. We had been traveling not far from Kremmen and were referred to Dr. Geschke by the emergency veterinary service. We feared that we would have to say goodbye to our family dog… Dr. Geschke meticulously inquired about his medical history, immediately considered a range of differential diagnoses, administered a variety of medications to Mafin, and provided us with all sorts of supplies for home treatment. Further examinations, treatments, and follow-up phone calls quickly followed… we felt completely understood and well cared for (and not just Mafin). A few weeks have passed now, and our dog is happy again, loves going for walks, and eats like there's no tomorrow. I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice. Thank you for your help, Dr. Geschke, Franziska, and Mandy!

I think I've lost my mind... I sent an email today asking about the cost of sterilization. Since I forgot to address them as "Dear Sir or Madam," I received a truly rude reply. 1. It's castration, not sterilization. 2. They claimed I had sent a mass email to all veterinarians, even though I didn't, because I got the email address from their website. 3. They accused me of checking everywhere to find out the price and save money (which I don't even think is so bad these days, given the prices). And when I called, they were even more rude to me on the phone. The woman repeated herself, saying my email was unfriendly because I hadn't included "Dear Sir or Madam" (for which I apologized). "If I have a cat, I must also have a vet," she said... ugh, there are also people who are new to cats, so that's a great point. And the end was the best part: when she told me I had to go for a check-up beforehand, and I simply explained that I wasn't familiar with that procedure because I knew two people who had made appointments by phone and then gone, she seriously said I was at the wrong practice; they don't accept patients like that. Who's only interested in the money here?! And to be so unfriendly because I didn't include that in the email is unbelievable... I've never experienced such rudeness in my entire life.

On our first day of vacation (a Sunday), our dog Frieda had a run-in with a cat. Dr. Geschke waited for us in the evening to stitch Frieda's eye. We were incredibly grateful, and Dr. Geschke and Franzi also took excellent care of us humans. The exceptionally pleasant atmosphere and the wonderful team immediately made us feel we were in the right place. The check-up the next day was also perfect and extremely caring. We were most pleased when the lovely Dr. Geschke called a week later (again a Sunday) to check on our dog. Unfortunately, we live over 700 km away, otherwise this team would be OUR veterinary practice.
