Reviews
A very nice and friendly veterinarian. She explained every step to us. Our cat is doing well after the neutering. She's a real animal lover; we've never seen our cat so calm today. Thank you so much!
My cat had a bladder infection, and our usual vet was unavailable due to closing time. We ended up paying €230 to this vet, who was also incredibly unfriendly! For the examination and a painkiller injection... Of course, I paid it to help my beloved pet. But what justified that price? The empty waiting room? Constantly having to listen to her rant about closing time? The next day, we had to go to our regular vet, who immediately examined our cat and asked what this other vet had done. He was shocked by the price and shared his own negative experience with this woman! I can only advise anyone who loves their pet not to go there, but to find a proper vet!
It's a mystery to me how this person is even allowed to practice. I should have been immediately suspicious that the waiting room was completely empty both times I visited the practice. It seems only inexperienced new pet owners, like myself at the time, ever wander in there. I went to the practice to inquire about suitable tick prevention. My dog had just come from the shelter, and it was clear he was extremely terrified of veterinary clinics. Instead of providing professional advice, Ms. Breitling held my dog down on the examination table for 20 minutes! without actually doing anything to him. Instead, she just rambled on about where she had obtained her degree and other irrelevant nonsense. Afterward, she asked me to sit at her desk for another half hour, where she showed me some certificates and publications of hers. Misplaced deference towards veterinarians and gripped by vicarious embarrassment, I endured this procedure for both my dog and myself, much to my dog's distress, who left the practice completely exhausted after three-quarters of an hour. Afterwards, Ms. Breitling wanted €120 for a tick treatment that was pure poison for a 14-year-old epileptic dog, even though I had informed her of my dog's pre-existing conditions right from the start. And so it happened as it had to – my dog had three epileptic seizures a day for a week. When I confronted Ms. Breitling about it, she naturally denied that it was due to the medication, even though the obvious misdiagnosis could be easily researched online. Over the past few years, I've come into contact with other pet owners who had similar experiences with Ms. Breitling. I hope and wish for every animal lover to avoid this practice, where rip-offs (possibly due to a lack of clients) and professional as well as social incompetence are commonplace.
An absolutely wonderful veterinarian who takes a thorough approach to each animal. She explains everything calmly and comprehensively, appointments are arranged quickly, and our Drago enjoys going to her. So far, we are very satisfied and will continue to take our animals to this practice. Best regards, the Hossinger family with Josi, Drago, Cini, Minki, and more
We have been taking our cats to Dr. Breitling for years, and have always received competent advice and our animals have been well cared for.
