Reviews
We have been taking our cats to Dr. Breitling for years, and have always received competent advice and our animals have been well cared for.
It's a mystery to me that this person is even allowed to practice. I should have been immediately suspicious that the waiting room was completely empty both times I visited the practice. It's probably only new pet owners with no experience, like me, who go there. I visited the practice to inquire about suitable tick protection. My dog had just come from the animal shelter, and it was noticeable that he was extremely terrified of veterinary practices. Instead of giving me professional advice, Ms. Breitling held my dog on the treatment table for 20 minutes! without actually doing anything to the dog. Instead, she just chatted away at me about where she got her degree and other unimportant stuff that was completely out of place. Afterward, she asked me to sit at her desk for half an hour, where she showed me various certificates and publications. Falsely humble towards doctors and overcome with embarrassment, I let my dog and myself undergo this procedure, much to my dog's dismay, who left the practice completely exhausted after the three-quarter hour. Afterwards, Ms. Breitling wanted €120 for a tick medication that was pure poison for a 14-year-old epileptic dog, even though I had informed her of my dog's pre-existing medical conditions right from the start. And so it happened as it had to happen – my dog had three epileptic seizures a day for a week. When I asked Ms. Breitenbach about it, she naturally denied that this was due to the medication, even though the obvious misindication could be researched online with just a click. Over the past few years, I've come into contact with other pet owners who had similar experiences with Ms. Breitling. I hope and wish for every animal lover to avoid this practice, where rip-offs (probably due to a lack of clientele) and professional and social incompetence are the order of the day.
My cat had a bladder infection, and our usual vet was unavailable due to closing time. We ended up paying €230 to this vet, who was also incredibly unfriendly! For the examination and a painkiller injection... Of course, I paid it to help my beloved pet. But what justified that price? The empty waiting room? Constantly having to listen to her rant about closing time? The next day, we had to go to our regular vet, who immediately examined our cat and asked what this other vet had done. He was shocked by the price and shared his own negative experience with this woman! I can only advise anyone who loves their pet not to go there, but to find a proper vet!
An absolutely wonderful veterinarian who takes a thorough approach to each animal. She explains everything calmly and comprehensively, appointments are arranged quickly, and our Drago enjoys going to her. So far, we are very satisfied and will continue to take our animals to this practice. Best regards, the Hossinger family with Josi, Drago, Cini, Minki, and more
A very nice and friendly veterinarian. She explained every step to us. Our cat is doing well after the neutering. She's a real animal lover; we've never seen our cat so calm today. Thank you so much!
