I've been taking my horse to Dr. Kisters for years and I'm very happy with her. Dr. Kisters is highly competent, gives excellent advice, and is always ready to listen. Her calm demeanor puts both horse and owner at ease and promotes a sense of calm. She doesn't try to push unnecessary treatments and only performs what's truly needed. Her assistant, who has done my horse's teeth twice, also does excellent work. I'm very satisfied here. ☺️

We've been taking our horses to Dr. Kisters for years and are completely satisfied. About three weeks ago, our younger mare had four colic episodes within a week and a half. It was a nightmare for us. Dr. Kisters and her team were available around the clock! The veterinarians were there for our horse early in the morning, at night, and even on holidays, and they got her back on her feet! We are so incredibly grateful. Warmest regards to the whole team.

I've been a satisfied customer for years, and all of my animals have been treated fairly, even in emergencies. My horses have always received excellent care, with absolutely transparent diagnostics and treatment. They never "talk" me into unnecessary tests, etc., and always act with the animal's best interests in mind.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Kisters. She was able to help us quickly, reliably, and very competently in a difficult situation. Beyond her comprehensive diagnostics, she also demonstrated great empathy. She is very concerned about the horse's well-being and also considers the owner's feelings. I was a client here a few years ago with my first tomcat. He was neutered at the practice. I now live in another city and have two other cats. Only now, after my little tomcat was neutered, did I realize how unprofessional the treatment my first cat received back in Kassel was. I had to pick him up under anesthesia, and he woke up at my house. I didn't get any painkillers for him or a neck brace in case he scratched the wound. My current vet told me it was irresponsible to send an animal home under anesthesia, and of course they would be in pain after such a procedure. In retrospect, I feel sorry for my big tomcat that I wasn't better informed at the time, but I relied on the vet's professionalism back then... So, if nothing has changed regarding this type of treatment, I would definitely advise against using the practice.
