Reviews
I can wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Kisters. She was able to help us quickly, reliably, and very competently in a difficult situation. Beyond her comprehensive diagnostics, she also demonstrated great empathy. She is very concerned about the horse's well-being and also considers the owner's feelings. She has my complete trust, and I can warmly recommend her. Many thanks for your competence, expertise, excellent service, and kindness!
I was a patient here a few years ago with my first cat. He was neutered at this practice. I now live in a different city and have two other cats. Only now, after my younger cat has been neutered, have I realized how unprofessional the treatment of my first cat was back then in Kassel. I had to pick him up while he was still sedated; he woke up at my house. I wasn't given any pain medication for him or an Elizabethan collar in case he scratched the wound. My current vet told me it was irresponsible to send an animal home under anesthesia, and of course they would be in pain after such a procedure. In hindsight, I feel bad for my older cat that I wasn't better informed back then, but I trusted the vet's professionalism at the time... So, unless their treatment practices have changed, I would definitely advise against using this practice.
I have been a satisfied customer for years; all animals are treated fairly, even in emergency situations. My horses have always received the best possible care, with completely transparent diagnostics and treatment. They never try to push unnecessary tests or procedures on me; they always act in the animal's best interest.
I've been taking my horse to Dr. Kisters for years and I'm very happy with her. Dr. Kisters is highly competent, gives excellent advice, and is always ready to listen. Her calm demeanor puts both horse and owner at ease and promotes a sense of calm. She doesn't try to push unnecessary treatments and only performs what's truly needed. Her assistant, who has done my horse's teeth twice, also does excellent work. I'm very satisfied here. ☺️
We've been taking our horses to Dr. Kisters for years and are completely satisfied. About three weeks ago, our younger mare had four colic episodes within a week and a half. It was a nightmare for us. Dr. Kisters and her team were available around the clock! The veterinarians were there for our horse early in the morning, at night, and even on holidays, and they got her back on her feet! We are so incredibly grateful. Warmest regards to the whole team.
