Reviews
We visit Dr. Schwarzer with our two cats and our dog and are always very satisfied. The team is very friendly and competent. Appointments are easy to get, and they take plenty of time for each animal. We highly recommend Dr. Schwarzer and her team.
I had been seeing Dr. Schwarzer and my cats since October and had to return every two weeks at the latest because they continued to feel unwell. Despite the long treatment period, neither a thorough examination nor lab results were performed. Instead of specific diagnostics, they ultimately just told me to wait until their immune systems stabilized. Since my cats' condition didn't improve, I consulted another veterinarian. They immediately took a swab, and it turned out my cats had an extremely complex medical condition. Thanks to the correct diagnosis and treatment, they are finally feeling better. I spent hundreds of euros with Dr. Schwarzer on treatment that ultimately yielded no progress. When I asked why my cats were still sick and whether they finally needed an antibiotic or more targeted therapy, all I got was the unprofessional answer that it was due to their breed – and I was treated unfriendly. I'm certain: Never again! If you want thorough and competent treatment for your pet, you should look for another veterinary practice.
A fantastic veterinarian with her heart in the right place! Always available and friendly to both people and animals. A thorough and pragmatic approach. She has profound expertise and a good network should specialists need to be consulted. I highly recommend her!
There are veterinarians who do their job as if the animal had statutory health insurance. "Where does it hurt? How long has it been going on? Here's an injection – thanks – that'll be €90 – if it doesn't get better, come back and repeat." Unfortunately, I've experienced this far too often and find it an absolute disgrace to choose a profession that obligates itself not only to help the animal but also its owners through information, proper treatments and analyses, honest findings, and open communication. But not here. We spontaneously visited Dr. Schwarzer, just before closing time. Our cat had been suffering from breathing problems for several days, and since we didn't trust the diagnosis of a quack, we decided to get Dr. Schwarzer's opinion. We were able to get an appointment quickly – and because of the urgency. A thorough medical history was taken, and our cat was examined. A proper examination. The animal was examined: mouth, eyes, teeth, bladder, kidneys, lungs, fever—everything that could have caused the suffering was checked. Finally, on her advice, an X-ray was taken. Unfortunately, it turned out that our beloved cat had a possible blockage in his throat and trapped air in his abdomen. He was suffocating. We were left with the choice of euthanasia to relieve his pain, or trying the veterinary clinic. But what was the point of an oxygen cage if it only alleviated the suffering but didn't cure him? Surgery, at his advanced age of 17, certainly wouldn't have had a good outcome. And simply taking him home and "waiting" would have been inhumane. Ms. Schwarzer provided us with both professional and compassionate support, which we greatly admire. She never gives up on an animal, but she also speaks her mind when things seem hopeless. We sincerely thank her and her team, who also provided us with invaluable support, and we will recommend them to everyone in the Tutzing area. Thank you so much for everything!
