I took my 10-year-old cat to her emergency clinic. She handled him very well and examined him thoroughly. Our cat is actually quite sensitive, but he went along with everything she did. I was particularly impressed by the thorough examination. Many veterinarians stop examining as soon as they find a possible cause. However, she completed the entire examination, and lo and behold, it was his throat and not (just) his abdomen… My cat was already feeling much better a few hours later. Despite being constantly busy on call, Dr. Hessling was friendly, patient, and remained calm and collected.

Veterinarian Dr. Nicola Heßling poses a danger to your pet! My dog Pia is no longer alive, and she and Dr. Hönig are responsible for it. My Pia died of cancer that developed in certain glands that were supposedly removed. If they had been removed properly, as claimed, the cancer would never have developed. She won't release the records because she has something to hide, and on top of that, she charged an unbelievable amount of money for the surgery. It's outrageous how she rips people off at the animals' expense. Background: She tinkered with the treatments for ages, which she's good at. The anal glands were constantly inflamed, requiring antibiotics every few weeks, expression, treatments, expensive sensitive food (which she conveniently also sells), and so on. But of course, she can always make money that way because she can't perform surgery herself, and she hands it over when you refuse to be talked into anything anymore. But she just wants to squeeze as much money out of me as possible, and she doesn't give a damn about the animal's well-being. That was a huge burden for my Pia. It wasn't until I said the anal glands should be removed; they weren't functioning properly anymore anyway. At my insistence, she referred me to Dr. Honig in Regensburg. Just as incompetent as Dr. Heßling. They didn't remove the glands properly; otherwise, the cancer would never have been able to grow. This was also confirmed by the Hofheim/Frankfurt veterinary clinic. And what Dr. Heßling and Dr. Honig jointly perpetrated, they charged exorbitant fees for, and didn't say a word about the fact that it wasn't removed correctly. If they had done their job properly, my Pia would still be alive. So, if your pet is important to you, please don't go to Heßling or Honig. Please learn from this. I would give negative stars if that were possible.

Whether a veterinarian is good or bad often depends on the situation. I just want to say that our little kitten was saved by the practice staff and Dr. Hessling. The previous vet didn't even give the cat a proper examination before treating her. The problem was, the six-month-old kitten had stopped eating. Thanks to consistent treatment, we can enjoy our pet every day. I've never seen so many animals as patients at any other veterinary practice. It's simply incredible. I want to sincerely thank you for the loving care.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Hessling and her team (especially Ms. Herzog!). She gave us over 1.5 more years with our two cats who suffered from severe kidney disease. Even in the most difficult moments, she was incredibly empathetic and always focused on the animals' well-being. She was even available in emergencies. We also feel completely well cared for and in competent hands with our little kittens. We also always greatly appreciate the communication :-) Thank you so much!
