I called the veterinarian, Ms. Petra Saretzkji, and wanted to know when she would be spaying the British Shorthair cat we bought from a previous owner. The veterinarian was completely annoyed and said I should call back this evening. She didn't have time for it right now and simply hung up. It's completely unacceptable to be so unfriendly.

Our dog was terminally ill, and the vet was on call on Sunday. After we called, she refused to come. After two more desperate calls, she irritably told us to just come to her place, and she would quickly euthanize the dog. The dog was in a lot of pain from the injection and howled loudly. In my opinion, this vet is a butcher, not a veterinarian. I'd also heard truly horrific stories about her from others. Terrible.

We found a bat on Saturday evening that had bitten into a fishing hook hanging in a tree. She was on call and asked us to come to the practice where she removed the hook. Yes, she's a bit brusque, but as a veterinarian, you can't act emotionally like an animal's owner. In the vast majority of cases, I believe a clear, professional approach is best, even if it's perceived as cold-blooded by an emotionally distressed owner.

I was satisfied; the vet was nice, explained things well, and was very gentle with my dog, which is very important to me. I can recommend her.

Best vet! I know very few vets with such expertise! Petra is one of the few vets who doesn't immediately resort to surgery, but instead uses many methods, such as herbal medicine, and offers lots of home remedy tips. With fantastic results! For her, the animal always comes first! Other vets wanted to send my horse straight to the clinic for surgery when he had an inflammation in his leg, but Petra treated it with herbal remedies and patience. She's also always available, direct, and honest, and doesn't beat around the bush. Whether it's a cat, rabbit, guinea pig, dog, or horse, all my animals feel comfortable with Petra!
