I've been taking my cats there for almost 10 years. I'd been to several other vets before, as well as Felmo and animal rescue services, but these two are simply the best by far. Yes, the vet's very direct manner can be a bit disconcerting at first, but he's incredibly competent, and I much prefer someone who says what's what and gives me a good, understandable plan, rather than beating around the bush. My cats have always been treated with loving care, and they've always charged standard prices, sometimes even less. I can therefore highly recommend this vet.
I had an urgent emergency with my dog today and called this practice. Although they told me on the phone that they weren't accepting new patients, they allowed me to come in because of the emergency. In hindsight, I could have saved myself the trouble. Even the arrival was chaotic. The "waiting room" is actually a terrace, with no clear signs or a visible doorbell. The windows are completely opaque, so you can't tell if anyone sees you. I glanced inside briefly because I assumed no one would notice we were there. Instead of understanding, I was later met with an unfriendly comment. The staff member opened the door without a hello, without friendliness, without anything at all. Instead, I was immediately reprimanded, even though the practice was completely empty at the time. There was no trace of empathy or professional conduct. Even worse: My dog wasn't even properly examined. He wasn't touched, wasn't palpated, and no diagnostic tests were performed. The vet only glanced at his eye and sent me on my way without any examination or assistance, stating that he "needed immediate surgery." This was supposed to be an emergency appointment! Then I was asked why the actual owner (my brother) wasn't there—in an emergency! Instead of taking care of the dog, I was interrogated and judged. Absolutely unprofessional. This practice showed neither interest in genuine emergencies nor any compassion. For me, it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a veterinary clinic. Definitely not recommended.
Hello, Unfortunately, we can only give one star. Here's why: We took our dog there for the first time, after having him for four weeks. When we asked if they were accepting new patients, the initial answer was "No," but they still told us to come in. They don't take appointments. We weren't greeted warmly; we were treated more like a nuisance. Since the dog needed blood drawn and had to be fasting for it, we were told to come back the next day. That visit wasn't exactly pleasant either. The dog was examined and blood was drawn. We then had to practically drag information out of the vet. Everything was fine, he was eating well, his weight was okay, etc. They didn't offer any information on their own. We received the blood test results via a short email. When I asked for an invoice, they sent it with the explanation that they no longer had any capacity for future treatments. But they added that we wouldn't have come back anyway. It didn't really give the impression that the team cared about the animals' well-being. Very disappointing.
I took my 3-year-old cat Chico there on Friday because he hadn't eaten for 3 days and had been vomiting constantly. He was examined and given something to stimulate his appetite and prevent vomiting, with instructions to come back on Monday if he wasn't better. 24 hours later he was dead…
We unfortunately had to accompany our beloved dog on her final journey. Everyone at the practice was incredibly empathetic, loving, and respectful—both to us and to our dog. We felt well cared for and understood in this difficult situation. Thank you so much for this compassionate support. ❤️
