He is very friendly, personable, patient, listens to what the patient says, and is reasonably priced. What's great is that you can just drop by during office hours without an appointment; you only need to schedule neutering or spaying by phone. No problems, for example, with infections or similar issues (spaying). Since I've had terrible experiences with another vet (my fourth cat) in Bad Schwartau...

Dr. Bluhm is sincere, very honest, and affordable. He lovingly cares for our five dogs and chickens at all times. Dr. Bluhm is not a veterinarian who, like many others, is only interested in his clients' money.

We are extremely disappointed. Our dog had an acute emergency last night: he couldn't move, collapsed, didn't respond to our commands, had white mucous membranes, and was breathing very shallowly. We called the emergency veterinary service in Schleswig-Holstein and were transferred to Mr. Bluhm. No one answered the phone on the first two attempts; he only answered on the third try, sounding annoyed. Despite describing what we considered a life-threatening emergency, we were told to come back the next morning because he "doesn't offer emergency services." After we pointed out that we had been referred to him through the emergency veterinary service, we were told that couldn't be right—no helpful alternative was offered, nor was there any information on who else we could contact. Fortunately, we were able to get help elsewhere. The diagnosis was poisoning. According to the attending veterinarian, our dog might not have survived until the next morning. In such an emergency, we expected significantly more support, seriousness, and, above all, help. Such behavior in an acute emergency is incomprehensible to us.

Dr. Blum is a veterinarian through and through; he's always there for you, even at short notice. He's friendly, honest, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.

The only doctor who could finally help my Lucy (French Bulldog) after 5 other doctors and clinics. The surgeries went without problems or complications, and my Lucy is finally feeling better. Thank you so much! 😌
