Dr.med.vet. Thomas Gilles

I always thought we were in good hands there... Unfortunately, I now feel differently. My cat had acute problems between Christmas and New Year's. We were sent home with painkillers... two days later, a huge scare, and since then we've been seeing a different vet... Common problems were overlooked, and yet we were still charged a fortune... now we're dealing with the consequences of wound care and multiple vet visits due to their negligence... I just feel so sorry for the animal. We'll be going somewhere else in the future.

We recently took our dog to Dr. Gilles. When we first inquired about an appointment because our dog had an ear infection, we were told they were fully booked, but that we could purchase an ear rinse at the practice that should help. After three days, there was no improvement, so we made another appointment. Dr. Gilles took plenty of time and, like his team, was very caring towards the animal. However, what really upset us was that we were there for an ear issue and instead spent almost two hours discussing other illnesses our dog has, which have been known and controlled for years. Furthermore, the second major topic was potential vaccinations, which were practically forced upon us. Our dog was there as an emergency case because our regular vet was on vacation, and he always gets all his vaccinations there. What ultimately led us to avoid this practice again was that our dog was given a deworming medication without any prior consultation, and only afterward was it explained what it was. They didn't ask when the dog had last received medication, whether he had tolerated it before, or if we wanted him to administer it. In my opinion, that was incredibly rude, and I don't want to know how often this happens there and what other tactics they use. They briefly checked the ear, and that was it. The bill for this experience was also quite creative and truly remarkable. Unfortunately, we are not satisfied.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars) Simply WOW – Dr. Thomas Gilles is a veterinarian with heart and mind! We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Gilles' help. He was immediately available, even late in the evening, and took care of our Rottweiler without hesitation. You can tell right away that the well-being of the animals and the peace of mind of their owners are more important to him than anything else – money is no object; helping others comes first. He is competent, calm, empathetic, and honest, explains everything clearly, and takes his time, whether it's an emergency or just a quick question. You rarely find a veterinarian like him – a true lifesaver and a wonderful person! We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Thomas Gilles. Thank you so much for your dedication, kindness, and compassion – our family and our dog are eternally grateful! ❤️🐾
