I took my little Pomeranian to Dr. Barz's emergency room and I'm very satisfied. He helped my dog ​​quickly and competently, explained everything to me in detail and clearly, and even took the time to check on her the next day. Thank you so much for such wonderful care!

An extremely unsympathetic vet with zero empathy! We called the emergency service because our dog was having severe respiratory distress. Since he'd been ill for a while and we knew there wasn't much we could do, we decided to have him put down. (This decision is certainly not an easy one.) He rudely said that this wasn't an emergency, and besides, it was already after 10 p.m. (it was 9:57 p.m.) and he's not actually on call anymore. If we decide right away, he'll still do it, but it'll cost even more. How can a vet speak so arrogantly and with so little compassion? He didn't ask anything about the dog once. He was only concerned with money and that it's not an emergency if an animal is having respiratory distress. Luckily, our dog made it until the next day and was able to be put to sleep by the extremely empathetic and caring Dr. Schneemeier. I absolutely do NOT recommend this doctor.

We've been taking all our animals to Dr. Barz for 30 years. From horses to dogs and cats, he has consistently provided excellent service at fair prices, even in emergencies. Dr. Barz is distinguished by his calm, friendly manner, high level of expertise, and extensive experience. Keep up the great work!
