Dr. Michael Rickert, Tierarzt

Dr. Rickert has been our veterinarian for many years, and he treats every animal with great love and respect! He's very direct and absolutely honest, and while he doesn't always tell you what you want to hear, he does so in a very human way, which I've rarely experienced with other vets. He doesn't try to perform unnecessary tests, and he loves animals so much that he fights for each one until the very limits that life, unfortunately, places on all of us. He would never cause an animal suffering if there was no hope of recovery. I even took my son's hamster, Rambi, to him, and sadly, he couldn't be saved, but he tried his best. He's a wonderful person with a vast amount of expertise and is incredibly kind and warm to both people and animals. He knows all the techniques for handling cats 🐱 🐈, and I trust him completely. He would never do anything that would hurt or harm the animals. Our cats love going to him, and he pets them, talks to them calmly, and always explains everything so well. I was there today with our cat Albert, who hadn't eaten for two days. Dr. Rickert immediately saw what was wrong: an infection. He treated him, and this evening Albert ate a little and, most importantly, drank something. I hope this vet stays in practice for a long time. He has a mission and is a vet with heart and soul!
