Dr. Simone Erdmann

Besides veterinarians for small and large animals, there are also highly skilled experts who specialize exclusively in horses. Dr. Simone Erdmann is one such example right here in the heart of Münsterland, where at least one pony seems to be lurking in every cupboard drawer, waiting for its next carrot. Over the past few years, I've often needed her expert help. I've always been impressed by her calm demeanor, which gives a horse the absolute certainty that everything will be alright again. Anyone who has had many years of experience with veterinarians will probably have to adjust here: Appointments are kept without fail.

I consider Simone Erdmann and her team an absolute stroke of luck. Ms. Erdmann, in particular, has always been available (even with a large baby bump!), whether at 7 a.m. or late at night at 11 p.m. She is a truly passionate veterinarian. And even when she can't be there, she still tries to help and is interested in how things turned out afterward. I appreciate the warm visits from the whole team; especially in emergencies, I know for sure that our horses are in the best hands and that animal welfare is everyone's top priority. They always look for the cause and the solution. You can also call them if you're unsure about a symptom or treatment; they take the time to explain everything in detail. THANK YOU for that! :)

Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. After treatment by Dr. Erdmann, my horse had to be hospitalized, which resulted in immense additional costs. Dr. Erdmann also dismissed my horse's condition as harmless and considered my trip to the clinic rather excessive. Fortunately, another veterinarian was on site and strongly advised me to leave. Otherwise, the whole story would have certainly ended badly. Dr. Erdmann didn't even ask me about the horse's condition again. Simply sad.

A truly wonderful and professional veterinarian who takes time with each horse and thoroughly considers the animal's well-being! The entire team is very friendly and competent. Appointments are prompt and reliable. Truly highly recommended!
