Dr. Simone Erdmann

I had a pre-purchase exam done here, and according to the report, the horse should have been fine. The vet found no clinically relevant issues during the exam (that's what the report states!). However, immediately after purchasing the horse, it turned out that it had a neglected, now chronic, case of respiratory ossification (RAO), which had been overlooked. The vet neither acknowledged her mistake nor offered any financial compensation. I paid almost €1000 for this pre-purchase exam and have spent months trying to treat the horse. Ultimately, due to the vet's incorrect advice and assessment, I lost a lot of money, experienced a great deal of distress and stress, and had to return the horse. When I asked for her understanding and a partial refund, she blocked me on WhatsApp and told me I should consult a lawyer!

I consider Simone Erdmann and her team an absolute stroke of luck. Ms. Erdmann, in particular, has always been available (even with a large baby bump!), whether at 7 a.m. or late at night at 11 p.m. She is a truly passionate veterinarian. And even when she can't be there, she still tries to help and is interested in how things turned out afterward. I appreciate the warm visits from the whole team; especially in emergencies, I know for sure that our horses are in the best hands and that animal welfare is everyone's top priority. They always look for the cause and the solution. You can also call them if you're unsure about a symptom or treatment; they take the time to explain everything in detail. THANK YOU for that! :)

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend her. After treatment by Dr. Erdmann, my horse unfortunately required hospitalization, resulting in immense additional costs for me. Furthermore, Dr. Erdmann dismissed my horse's condition as harmless and considered my trip to the clinic excessive. Fortunately, another veterinarian was on hand who strongly advised me to go. Otherwise, the whole situation would certainly have ended badly. Dr. Erdmann didn't even bother to check on my horse's condition afterward. Simply disheartening.

A truly fantastic and highly qualified veterinarian who takes her time with each horse and thoroughly considers its well-being! The entire team is very friendly and competent. Appointments are available quickly and reliably. Highly recommended!

Dr. Erdmann and I have been working together for a very long time; she is an absolutely trustworthy and empathetic veterinarian.
