Reviews
A lovely veterinarian. We visited twice on New Year's Day. Unfortunately, we had to have our rabbit put down. Dr. Landwehr was very considerate of us, even though we were a group of six.
I got a last-minute appointment for my Sheltie, Whiskey. Dr. Landwehr was very kind and friendly and discovered a fracture in my dog's right front leg during the x-ray. It was professionally bandaged, and a few missing vaccinations were also administered. Everything was great. Whiskey can now at least hobble around on walks again, relatively pain-free. We've found our regular vet. Many thanks for everything, and also to the very lovely staff.
I called there because of our dog. He had blood in his stool. I asked to get an appointment that same day. They checked the computer to see who was available. Then they told me she was in surgery. Perhaps Ms. Landwehr didn't care about the dog, but he meant everything to us. It's strange that we got an appointment immediately with another vet, even though she was having surgery.
"Dr. Landwehr, I believe your account is inaccurate. My cat was in critical conditionâshe had fluid in her lungsâand yet she was sent home without proper treatment. She died shortly afterward. It is regrettable that you are now giving the impression that I didn't understand the seriousness of the situation. I relied on your professional assessment and followed the recommended measures. I find your attempt to disclaim responsibility inappropriate and unprofessional. My intention is not to publicly defame anyone, but rather to openly share my experience and point out that more care and empathy are needed when dealing with seriously ill animals. I hope that future patients and their owners will receive more serious and responsible care."
