Reviews
It was a mistake for us to go there. He was a bad advisor. The tablets were overcharged (individual price instead of package price), but that was the least of our problems. To be precise, he had a university degree, but I was right.
We visited this veterinary practice for the first time based on a recommendation to inquire about a dental cleaning for our dog. From the moment we walked in, we immediately felt in good hands. The vet was very competent, honest, and friendly. He explained to us that while a dental cleaning is generally advisable, in our case, it could be postponed for a while – perhaps saving our dog a treatment and ourselves unnecessary costs. This shows that they aren't ripping us off, but are truly acting in the best interests of the animal. We feel we received excellent advice and will definitely be back!
I am very disappointed, as I trusted the diagnosis that my 13-year-old dog's organs were in good condition for his age. Over the past few years, I repeatedly asked if my dog had tumors. This was always denied. When my dog collapsed yesterday in pain and could no longer move his hind legs, a slipped disc was suspected, and he was given painkillers. The vet didn't deem it necessary to perform an ultrasound or refer us to a veterinary clinic. Because my dog was crying pitifully, we went to the Obertshausen Veterinary Clinic, which I highly recommend. There, they discovered that he had tumors in his liver and spleen, as well as fluid in his abdominal cavity. He was given opiates, but he continued to cry. Since surgery was no longer an option, we had to have him euthanized. It is a great loss that could certainly have been delayed with a timely diagnosis. After my dog had been under the regular care of Dr. I was shocked that Dr. Weiss reacted so irritably when the receptionist told him, after my dog's death, that I wanted to speak with him briefly to explain the situation and ask why he had said on the day of the death that the organs were in excellent condition. He then spoke to me briefly, but I feel completely misunderstood and dismissed. Of course, nothing will bring my dog back, but one would expect empathy and interest from a doctor, especially since he profited from us for years.
We took our bearded dragon to Dr. Weiss, after previously seeing another vet who unfortunately gave us the wrong diagnosis. Our dragon's condition was truly critical, and he almost lost his leg. Dr. Weiss had little hope that we could keep the leg on, as he had also lost toes, but he supported us very well and performed all the necessary tests. It turned out that our Luigi had a bacterial and fungal infection, and things weren't looking good for the little guy. But now, after almost three months of treatment, we can happily correct the situation and say that the leg won't have to be amputated, thanks to the AMAZING help of Dr. Weiss and his team. THANK YOU SO MUCH 🙏 We will always take him to him from now on, but we hope something like this won't happen again 🙏
