The veterinary practice was on call when my dog had health problems. I called them first (around 8:00 PM), described the symptoms, and asked if we should come in or if a visit to our regular vet the next day would suffice. The answer: "Yes, just come in." (Annoyed tone) Since my dog's condition initially improved, I called again and informed them that we wouldn't be coming in for the time being (around 8:10 PM). I then received the response that I absolutely should not call again at night. Excuse me?? An emergency service is there to provide care at night. However, since I had a drive of more than 30 minutes to the practice, I didn't want to drive if my dog's condition had improved. I then decided to go to the veterinary clinic in Nuremberg, because I definitely didn't want my dog treated by that vet.
Absolutely outrageous!!! I was there with my mother because our cat had been hit by a car, and we were only seen with great annoyance. Then he told us it was just a bruise and painkillers would suffice. Luckily, we decided to go to the animal hospital: traumatic brain injury, life-threatening. This practice should no longer be allowed to offer emergency services!
He's actually a nice vet who treats animals respectfully. But first, he prescribed our cat a highly liver-damaging medication without informing us. Now the cat is dependent on pills for life, which he sells at a very high price. He refuses to give us a prescription or anything similar when we ask, which would allow us to get the pills more cheaply. Now we're paying €30 a month, even though we could get three times that amount online.
Fantastic vet! We discovered a lump on our cat's neck, under his jaw. We were looking for a vet who was still open on a Wednesday at 6:30 pm and came across Dr. Keller. We called and were able to come in right away. A super competent vet who really knows his stuff! It turned out he had an abscess. We went back today for a check-up, as he had to remove the drain. Everything looks good. Thank you so much, Dr. Keller, for everything!!
We are very grateful to the veterinarian for his professionalism and experience. He immediately recognized our cat's kidney problem – without any unnecessary tests or costs. No unnecessary treatments; everything was explained clearly and honestly. Thank you for your honesty and expertise!
