Reviews
I have to tell you that this veterinarian has my complete trust. I always feel I receive excellent and comprehensive advice, and the treatment results are consistently very satisfactory. Today, the vet even called personally to check on my pet's well-being. You couldn't ask for more from your clients and patients; everything is just perfect here. Rocky and I say a big thank you.
A truly wonderful, empathetic, and friendly veterinarian. When my cat suddenly became ill, I felt well cared for and supported, as they explained everything very clearly. Excellent advice and a lovely way with animals. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much!
A very empathetic and conscientious veterinarian. He takes his time and asks detailed and thorough questions about symptoms; he has already saved our cat's life twice. I highly recommend this practice.
Title: Disappointing Experience – Poor Treatment and Inadequate Communication Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog after she was diagnosed with a tumor and metastases in her lungs. We had high hopes that the treatment at Dr. Bürgener's practice would help her, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing and distressing. At the beginning of the treatment, a tumor was discovered in our dog, and after a consultation with the veterinarian, we opted for surgery. Unfortunately, the wound did not heal well, and it turned out that not all the stitches had been removed, leading to further inflammation. After about two months, the tumors reappeared, and our dog suddenly had breathing difficulties. Despite our concerns, we were assured that this was normal and that no further action was necessary. As our dog's condition continued to deteriorate, we sought the help of a veterinarian friend. She explained that, in her opinion, the doctor's approach was incorrect. She recommended that we change veterinarians. The new veterinarian was shocked by the lack of a lung x-ray before the surgery. Had this been done, we would have known that the lungs were already affected, and the surgery would not have taken place. If two teats were already removed, the entire mammary chain should have been removed, but this was not done. Unfortunately, it was too late by the time we realized these mistakes. In a subsequent conversation with the original veterinarian, he presented himself as "experienced and helpful" and claimed to have done what was best for our dog for years. The truth, however, is that he left us in the dark regarding crucial information and did not properly inform us about the treatment options. His behavior, now hiding behind excuses and lies after we contacted him, unfortunately demonstrates that he does not truly feel responsible. We want to share this experience so that other pet owners become aware of the importance of thorough, compassionate, and responsible treatment. Our dog would have had much more precious time if the veterinarian had chosen the correct diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this practice.
