Veterinary medicine with heart and mind. After many years of searching, I have finally found the veterinary care I've always wanted for my dogs at the practice of Dr. Hess and Ms. Braun. You can immediately tell: Here, they have a real passion for animals, and the well-being of every animal is their top priority. I'm happy to travel several kilometers and accept longer journeys because this practice is unbeatable. It's a true relief to know that my dogs are always examined with the utmost care and thoroughness. Unlike previous experiences, they don't rush into medication here; a sound diagnosis is always the basis of every treatment. I accept the occasional waiting time with great appreciation, because I know it's due to their dedication to acute emergencies. I fully understand that a veterinary practice sometimes reaches its limits and can't always do everything according to plan, and that's precisely why I admire their tireless commitment. It's reassuring to know that my pet would receive immediate help in an emergency. The practice's tireless dedication is simply unparalleled. Their willingness to be there for their animal patients for many hours a day, and even at night in emergencies, is far more than just fulfilling their duty – it's a rare calling. Our trusted veterinary practice, run by both Dr. Hess and his colleague Dr. Braun, is highly competent and empathetic. It's clear that both vets genuinely care about the animals' well-being and invest a great deal of time, love, and expertise in their care. All the other staff members are also very friendly and empathetic, always striving to find a solution. Even when not every one of our animals could be saved, we were always treated with great care and understanding. Our beloved cat was simply too ill, as unfortunately, even the team at the Friedrichstadt Small Animal Practice can't perform miracles, but they come very close. Our dogs continue to receive successful and expert treatment there, and it's likely they won't encounter any other veterinarians, at least not at another practice. Thank you to the entire team!

I've been taking my dogs to Mr. Hess for many years; he's a fantastic veterinarian. He's always been incredibly helpful and never gave up, even when I was desperate and didn't know what to do for my three dogs. He's very loving with them. My 12-year-old pug, Lulu, has been a patient of Dr. Hess for a year now. We moved from Hesse to North Frisia and couldn't wish for a better veterinarian. Dr. Hess is exceptionally competent, observes carefully, and explains clearly what is truly necessary, avoiding unnecessary treatments or costs. It's immediately apparent that the animals' well-being is his top priority. Behind his sometimes rather direct manner lies a big heart and a genuine passion for his four-legged patients. I would particularly like to emphasize his availability: compared to many other veterinarians, Dr. Hess is remarkably often and reliably reachable. You never feel abandoned, and that provides an incredible sense of security. He has already helped Lulu tremendously on several occasions, and we always feel taken seriously, well cared for, and in excellent hands. For us, Dr. Hess is an absolute stroke of luck.
