Reviews
We've been here 4-5 times, always with urgent emergencies. Since the emergency services are very limited, we drive 2.5 hours each time – often very late in the evening or at night. However, you can rely on someone being there and the phone being manned. In most cases, we have to euthanize our budgies, some of whom are very sick, here. This only happens after discussing the situation and quickly diagnosing it. Even though it's difficult for us every time, we're simply happy to know the health status of our budgies before we euthanize them. Since we specialize in certain handicaps and illnesses, including PBFD, unfortunately, emergencies do arise from time to time. We know that birds like to hide their suffering, especially for long periods of time... We were also there for a complex egg-laying surgery after our regular veterinarian couldn't schedule any emergency appointments. My hen is doing great today and tolerated the operation very well. My animal welfare friend is lucky enough to live nearby and is also always in good hands. Whenever we have an issue, we know we're in good hands. We highly recommend this practice. Thank you for your work.
We highly recommend the doctor. We brought two wild birds to her emergency service over the weekend, which she treated on a voluntary basis (x-rays, antibiotics, painkillers, etc.). A small donation is greatly appreciated. She is very empathetic, explains in detail what the animal might be suffering from, and updates us on the animal's condition during the week. I would like to give her 10 points if possible. Thank you for your work and thank you to everyone who doesn't look away and catches injured animals. 💞
I am incredibly grateful for the quick and helpful support I received last night. Even though I had to cancel my appointment today, I received immediate, competent, and friendly assistance – completely free of charge. This means a great deal to me. Thank you so much for your professionalism and your kindness.
Very dedicated, very friendly to people too 😉 I gladly drive my ducks an hour to this practice because I know we are in good hands here.
I found a severely injured barn owl and sought help at this practice. I got an appointment immediately. The reception was friendly and welcoming. The veterinarians explained what they would do for the owl. They took the animal into their care for a thorough examination and, if necessary, further care. The examination was free of charge and was covered by the Wildlife Aid. I therefore donated a small amount to the Wildlife Aid. I feel I received competent advice at this veterinary practice. I had previously searched all over Schleswig-Holstein for expert assistance without success. If I find another injured wild animal, I will definitely bring it here. Thank you so much!!!
