Lehnchen the hen from "Save the Chicken" was sick, and we got an appointment the same day. I can highly recommend this practice to all chicken owners. Unfortunately, a thorough examination, including an ultrasound, revealed leukemia, and we had to have Lehnchen euthanized. 😔 The entire process, from scheduling the appointment to saying goodbye, was handled with great empathy and professionalism. They took their time and explained every step, which I really appreciated, and I'd like to thank them again here!

I found a badly injured barn owl and sought help at this veterinary practice. I was given an appointment immediately. The reception was friendly and helpful. The veterinarians explained what they would do for the owl. They took the animal into their care for a thorough examination and, if necessary, treatment. The examination was free of charge and covered by the wildlife rescue organization. I therefore made a small donation to the wildlife rescue organization. I have the impression that I received competent advice at this veterinary practice. I had previously searched unsuccessfully for expert assistance throughout Schleswig-Holstein. If I find another injured wild animal, I will definitely bring it here. Thank you so much!

A wonderful, rural practice with a very competent and lovely doctor! Everything was explained to me thoroughly, and I wasn't pressured into anything! I'm thrilled!!! We've been here 4-5 times, always with urgent emergencies. Since the emergency services are very limited, we drive 2.5 hours each time – often very late in the evening or at night. However, you can rely on someone being there and the phone being manned. In most cases, we have to euthanize our budgies, some of whom are very sick, here. This only happens after discussing the situation and quickly diagnosing it. Even though it's difficult for us every time, we're simply happy to know the health status of our budgies before we euthanize them. Since we specialize in certain handicaps and illnesses, including PBFD, unfortunately, emergencies do arise from time to time. We know that birds like to hide their suffering, especially for long periods of time... We were also there for a complex egg-laying surgery after our regular veterinarian couldn't schedule any emergency appointments. My hen is doing great today and tolerated the operation very well. My animal welfare friend is lucky enough to live nearby and is also always in good hands. Whenever we have an issue, we know we're in good hands. We highly recommend this practice. Many thanks to the doctors and the entire, incredibly dedicated practice team. We were under the care of our Bielefeld rooster, Mr. Brinkmann, for several weeks. We felt we received excellent advice and support at all times, both during minor and major issues. Even a longer drive is worthwhile – this practice is highly recommended! 🐓
