We took our dog there on Whit Monday. The diagnosis and treatment were fine – but no different than at other vets. Do they really charge three times the standard rate just because it's an emergency? 330 euros for expressing anal glands and giving an antibiotic seems excessive!

My dog ​​and I feel very well cared for. Scheduling appointments is super easy, everyone is friendly and competent.

I took my cat there the day before yesterday because he was vomiting blood and my usual vet was closed. I went there out of desperation, as this was the closest vet I could find. An older woman didn't open the door, looked through the window, and shrugged. She then went to the waiting room window and opened it. After I explained the situation and pleaded for help, she told me, "Without an appointment, nothing will be done," and that there was no vet available. As someone who works at a veterinary practice, I find this behavior unbelievable! I've never experienced anything like it! To send away a potentially dying animal. Perhaps she should reconsider her career choice. She could have called the vet or offered to wait a moment. But to hand me an emergency card and say, "You might have to travel a bit further"... I ended up having to go to Niebüll... thankfully, my cat pulled through.

A very nice team, I can highly recommend them. Very understanding and empathetic. It was with heavy hearts that we had to let our beloved Lucy go on vacation. They took excellent care of our princess and us.

Cost Trap Phone Call I was *offered* a call back from the receptionist because I had a concern regarding further treatment for my dog. I wasn't called at the agreed time, so I called and the doctor answered. After the call, I was told I'd be billed because it was a service charge. I wasn't informed in advance about such costs (€13.40 is a lot of money for 5 minutes on my phone bill), and a different figure was quoted than the one ultimately shown on the bill (which was higher). Everything went so smoothly that I didn't realize my annoyance until later. My annoyance isn't necessarily the way the charges were charged, but rather that it wasn't communicated transparently, and as a customer, I couldn't opt ​​out. I'm clearly lacking clarity on this!!!!
