We came with our dog that was shaking a lot, throwing up, crying out of pain. We asumed it was food poisoning. It was rat poison. He should have been put on IV fluids, something to provoke vomiting, diuretics. Although his blood test was good at that moment (it is what they said), I kept telling he was poisoned. He was crying and moaning out of pain, having painful cramps and shaking. He got only analgetic, and something against vomiting, and they said the he was fine, nothing to be worried about. He died in agony, so much pain. I drove to clinic to Ettlingen during the night as it was only opened clinic, but when I parked our dog was gone :( In the morning happy doggy, during the night painfuly gone. I must say in this clinic they are kind and polite. But it seems not competent enough.

I was recently in the Wiesloch Tierklinik with my Labradoodle. She has a cancerous tumor on her foot and I wanted advice for treatment. We had a very unpleasant experience with Dr. Perk. While she did offer her advice she was not sympathetic, she cut me off when I tried to explain things and made me feel like a bad pet owner. She asked why we waited so long to come in (as if we didn’t care about the health of our dog) and I explained that we wanted to first try more conservative treatment (we were by a veterinarian specializing in Bioresonance and homeopathic treatments) especially because our dog had a knee operation less than one year ago... She said abruptly... now you only have 2 options, amputate her leg 😳 (which we are obviously not prepared to do) or radiation therapy. We now luckily have an appointment for a consultation in Hofheim and are hopeful we will have a better experience with a doctor who can be a bit more understanding and sympathetic to what we have been through to help our dog have a better quality of life 😢

Really good practice. Very busy at times when you have to wait quite long but they take care of your pet and give great advice.

Waiting time are very long. Some years ago they vaccinated my dog with Novibac T, which contains mercury. My dog got very very sick after the vaccination, even pooping blood. They didn't want to accept it was the vaccine. Please check that when your pet is vaccinated against rabies is given a thimerosal-free vaccine like IMRAB 3 TF.
