Very disappointing experience – not recommended I took my pet to the practice of Dr. Hans Sitterli and Claudia Schaffroth several times – unfortunately, every visit was a disappointment. The treatment was neither professional nor sensitive, neither towards the pet nor towards me as the owner. Upon entering the practice, I was not greeted in a friendly manner. The staff seemed stressed, irritable, and unhelpful. Instead of answering questions calmly and understandably, I was curtly or even impatiently dismissed. Even in the treatment room, no time was taken, nor was the pet treated gently or respectfully. There was a complete lack of empathy – my pet was visibly stressed, which was not taken seriously at all. Instead of calming it down, it was handled roughly. I had the feeling that their only goal was to "rush" the next patient through as quickly as possible. Even worse was the way I, the pet owner, was treated: Specific questions about diagnosis or treatment were answered either evasively or condescendingly. Criticism or uncertainties weren't taken seriously, but rather perceived as a nuisance. I felt like an annoying "disruptive factor," not a responsible person who wanted the best for her animal. Overall, I found the practice cold, disorganized, and lacking in competence. I was never able to build trust there. After these experiences, I consciously decided to change practices—and the difference was immediately noticeable. Conclusion: Anyone who truly wants their animal to be well cared for and to be taken seriously as a person should urgently look for another practice. This practice is a complete disappointment.

I've been taking my dog, cat, and guinea pig to Ms. Schaffroth for years. My pets are always in good hands there. She's thorough, very caring, and always looks after them well. Highly recommended.

I really can't understand the bad reviews here. Because of the holidays, I used the emergency service. Ms. Schaffroth was friendly, competent, and professional. I was very impressed with her.
