I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews. I have never experienced such an incompetent veterinarian. Unfortunately, he made the animal even sicker than it already was.

The best veterinarian I've ever met. Dr. Leonhardt truly cares about the animals' well-being, unlike some others who are only interested in profit. We've had numerous animals treated by him, and there's never been a single reason to complain. Our animals have all received excellent care and feel very comfortable in his presence. I just hope he stays with us for a very long time.

We strongly advise against going to this veterinarian. Yesterday, we took our Maja there due to an emergency and suspected internal bleeding. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a misdiagnosis made by the emergency service. The vet didn't perform an ultrasound or any other examinations, but instead gave Maja four injections and said she would recover. The third injection was administered incorrectly, causing it to burst. He also gave her far too high a dose of pain medication, which led to multiple organ failure. Two hours after the visit, Maja died at home. Instead of internal bleeding, she had a uterine infection, which went untreated. This veterinarian has taken our beloved family member from us, and I will do everything in my power to have his license revoked. The veterinary authorities and the press have already been informed. The practice is unhygienic and resembles a hoarder's apartment. The veterinarian didn't answer our questions and mistreated Maja, ultimately leading to her death. Please do not go to this veterinarian.

According to the veterinary emergency number 01805 84 37 36, Mr. Leonhardt was on call on Saturday, May 9, 2026. My dog wasn't feeling well (my partner told me this, as I was away on business), and I spoke with Mr. Leonhardt around 10:30 p.m., telling him I would bring my dog in around midnight to have her checked out, as I was at an event I couldn't leave. His response was: "I can't do anything about that; you'll have to go to Dr. Zeißler in Auerbach." When I pointed out that I found it rather odd that he, as the on-call veterinarian, would give me such a response, he didn't say anything more. The call ended the same way. My partner then immediately went to the veterinary clinic but found no one there. I felt/feel completely taken for a ride... How can you trust a veterinarian enough to entrust your pet to someone else when they treat you like a fool and don't seem to care about the animal's well-being?

He might not be what you'd expect from a vet visit... but... technically top-notch... we came to him with a duckling... broken leg... he examined everything thoroughly and answered all my questions. He's not much of a talker, but I was grateful to have him today... he doesn't deserve such bad reviews... and he only charged 5 euros today... another vet would have easily charged 40...
