We dropped off our Persian cat at 8:00 AM for a haircut. At 5:00 PM we were finally able to pick him up—to our horror! We paid €53.00 for the haircut, including anesthesia—an absolute rip-off! Attached are pictures of the cat—seriously, a run-over cat looks better. We also expected all the knots to be removed, but no, that wasn't the case. My wife spent another 20 minutes removing the rest (including bruises—hence the anesthesia). We know it's not a small animal groomer, but this is truly outrageous. He was already under anesthesia; is it too much to ask for them to run a comb through his fur at least once? The fluff on his tail was still there from the day before. Perhaps they should consider not accepting any more small animals—in my opinion, they lack the necessary experience.
