I've been coming here with my animals since 2006. I take my budgies, guinea pigs, and hamsters, including dwarf hamsters. I can only attest to the excellent care this practice and its staff, especially Ms. Jainzt, provide, even before the treatment itself. What this fantastic team accomplishes is absolutely top-notch! The help and support are invaluable! Today I had to say goodbye to one of my animal companions. Thank you to Dr. Helmes, and also to Dr. Schütterle and Dr. Schütterle! You are all the best!

I highly recommend this veterinary practice! I was able to get an appointment at short notice despite their busy schedule. The practice was busy, but everyone was always friendly, helpful, and competent. Everything is well-organized, and I didn't have to wait long. Thank you for the expert help; my chickens are doing much better.

Two reasons compel me to write this review. 1) The best veterinary assistant I've ever encountered in 23 years of owning dogs. Organized, efficient, quick, and incredibly friendly. 2) Ms. Helmes. In my opinion, an absolutely exceptional veterinarian. Confident, competent, and for me, the perfect blend of genuine honesty, truly helpful and supportive, yet also objectively empathetic. Even for an experienced dog owner like myself with many, many years of breeding experience, this is a real help, for which I am sincerely grateful. Especially when things get tough.

Shocked after a good initial impression! Until 2024, we took our cat Pablo (an outdoor cat) to the Helmes/Schütterle veterinary practice for all his recommended vaccinations. Today, when we visited a different vet (after moving) for his timely booster shots, we unfortunately discovered that the Helmes/Schütterle practice had forgotten to vaccinate him against feline leukemia in 2024. The practice confirmed this after a phone call. Feline leukemia (FeLV infection) is one of the "most common causes of death in cats" and is "incurable." (Source: "Ready for the World," Boehringer Ingelheim). We had, of course, handed in his meticulously maintained vaccination record at reception, where the necessary leukemia vaccination was noted. Pablo and we, as his cat parents, relied on the veterinarians' medical expertise.

Very satisfied. The only minor drawback is the longer waiting time.
