Ms. Sielaff is truly competent, takes her time, and listens! I feel very, very well looked after, well cared for, and thank God we've found a good solution every time so far! Thank you 🥰
Today I sadly had to say goodbye to my 18-year-old cat. Dr. Sielaf was very, very kind and competent. She explained everything I could do, and she is a very empathetic veterinarian. I would trust her again without hesitation.
I took our cat, who was worried sick, to the vet. She wasn't eating properly and was visibly losing weight. Since she had an autoimmune disease, I assumed it was related. I went to this vet twice in total. She was always kind and friendly and very gentle with our cat. Unfortunately, her diagnosis was completely wrong, and she sent us home with painkillers (apparently, the cat had back pain). Since her condition didn't improve, I went back. She examined her again but still believed our cat only had back pain and an infection. As our cat continued to deteriorate, I sought a second opinion. An ultrasound was performed, and a kidney lymph node was detected. Our cat had cancer. Sadly, she passed away a few months after the diagnosis. Even though this vet couldn't have prevented her death, she could have made the correct diagnosis with an ultrasound and thus spared her further suffering. It's a shame that didn't happen.
A good veterinarian who also provides adequate care for hedgehogs. Unfortunately, not many veterinarians can do that (wildlife medicine is regrettably still not taught in veterinary school). It's appalling how clueless some veterinarians are when dealing with wild animals.
We've been taking our rabbits to Dr. Sielaff for many years and are more than satisfied. She always takes her time and even explains to our children, when they're present, what she's doing with the rabbits.
