Susanne Hoppe is fantastic with small animals!!! She is so kind and compassionate with our dog, Freddy! And with all the other small animals too, simply wonderful ♡♡♡♡
5 stars! I'm thrilled as always. My dog loves going there without any fear, and the prices are reasonable! Simply fantastic.
Dr. Hoppe is simply the best veterinarian. It's not about money; it's always about the animal's well-being! She treated four of my animals, and I have trusted her and will continue to do so in the future!
A great veterinarian - we feel our animals are in good hands with her.
AND HE'LL NEVER BE COMPLETELY HEALTHY AGAIN. On October 6, 2023, I went to Ms. Hoppe for a follow-up appointment regarding an ear infection. A year ago, I would have agreed with the positive reviews. Well, not anymore! At the check-up in October, everything was fine, and Ms. Hoppe said to give me ear drops for another 5 days as aftercare. A day and a half later: his head was completely tilted, he was falling over, not drinking, not eating. Off to the emergency clinic. There, after an examination – general anesthesia! Result: BOTH EARS COMPLETELY CONGESTED! RIGHT EMMUM GONE! "Your vet should have seen that!" Now weeks, months of treatment. Difficulty eating, walks impossible, only a few hundred meters, if that. He's lost 10% of his weight. Right eardrum is GONE! Balance is gone! He didn't tolerate Karsivan (to improve circulation). He couldn't tolerate cortisone, and so on and so forth. He couldn't walk on laminate flooring; it slipped. Lifting his leg was difficult. I could go on and on. In September 2023, at 10 years old, he was still romping around with other dogs for 45 minutes. That's all over now. He's aged so suddenly. His head remains tilted. This will eventually lead to joint problems. He can't even bathe anymore because of his missing eardrum—and he loves water! What would have happened if the illness had been detected earlier—I don't know. But I assume it wouldn't have been so bad. Another veterinarian from the county took wonderful care of my dog. He's walking again, eating again, and he's back to his normal weight. But you can tell he's suffering from the limitations caused by the illness: his sense of balance, his tilted head. I wish I could have spared him all of this!
