Our absolute soulmate vet. We feel incredibly well cared for with our two cats. Even our previous hamster was treated with incredible respect and seriousness, even though to many it's "just a hamster." Always available, always does everything possible, super friendly, calm, reassuring, and competent. We trust him completely. Kai definitely knows what he's doing and what's right for both animal and owner. Our motto at home: if Kai isn't around anymore, we probably won't have any more pets.
I went there in 2021, and thanks to this vet, my cat was able to live for another nine months, even though the previous vet wanted to euthanize him immediately. He was incredibly friendly, compassionate, and always looked for a solution.
A fantastic veterinarian! Everyone there is incredibly kind and friendly and treated me and my cat very well. Highly recommended! They're also extremely fair when it comes to treatment costs – truly excellent! :)
I've been a patient of Mr. Karstensen for years and am extremely satisfied. I know how he handles animals of all sizes, from minor ailments to emergencies, and I have complete trust in him. He's wonderful with animals, takes his time, and is always friendly to people, explaining everything clearly and simply. Whether it's a small problem or an emergency, he's always my first choice.
Hi, we're Kyra 🐱 and Lucifer 🐾 – professional couch potatoes, snack inspectors, and part-time drama queens. Just yesterday, the inevitable happened: Our humans got out the carrier. Everyone knows what that means. Panic. Escape attempts. Loud protests. We, of course, did everything we could to make it clear: We're not going in there voluntarily! Despite our impressive resistance, we eventually ended up in the carrier and were taken to the vet. Normally, it smells like "dog was here first," "scared sweat," and "uh oh, here comes the thermometer." 😾 But this time was different: Our humans took us to the Karstensen Small Animal Clinic in Scheeßel. Our professional veterinary odor analysis revealed: surprisingly relaxed. The people there were calm and friendly, took their time, and explained everything clearly to our can openers. A particularly positive point: No one tried to accuse us of having any illnesses, even though we were putting on a rather dramatic face, just to be safe. Our humans seemed much calmer afterward—and so did we (once we were back home on the sofa, of course). The verdict from an official cat's perspective: While the carrier remains a highly questionable piece of equipment… switching to the Karstensen Small Animal Clinic was definitely a very good decision. With royal purrs and still slightly offended looks, Kyra & Lucifer 🐾
