Excellent vet. His wife and daughter are also great. I like taking our cat Odin there. I think he's very good with animals. Our cat doesn't act up with him like he did with the other vet in Meissen. I also think his prices are reasonable. I only go to them now. Thank you ❤️

Stay away if you love your pet! Our cat had a tumor (which, by the way, was clearly visible on the ultrasound) that Mr. Dörfelt failed to detect for weeks, as one would expect when refusing an ultrasound when asked. Instead, he repeatedly administered infection treatments, which cost us several hundred euros. When we were at our wits' end, we took her to a veterinary clinic, where the tumor was immediately diagnosed, and we were advised to have our cat euthanized. The one star is only because his wife euthanized our pet at home outside of business hours, allowing us to at least say a proper goodbye.

I visited Mr. Dörfelt today for an emergency appointment because my dog ​​had a seizure. It was almost closing time, but he still gave my dog ​​a thorough examination and a diagnosis. Mr. Dörfelt was a little taken aback that we usually go to a different vet and were only there for the emergency, but that's understandable. However, I felt the examination was thorough and competent; I can't presume to make a definitive judgment. I thought the way he handled my dog ​​was excellent, and he seemed to trust him. And the price for the examination seemed perfectly reasonable.

I can highly recommend him. My cat needed to be neutered. Mr. Dörfelt was there for me immediately and did a truly excellent job. I've had "different" vets with my previous cats.
