I took my cat to the emergency vet on Sunday. The woman was incredibly nice. I was able to go straight in and my cat received excellent care.

I'm truly speechless! I've never experienced such behavior, either personally or as an anesthesiologist. Our dog had complications during delivery. In desperation because the first vet on call wasn't answering the phone, and our dog's condition was deteriorating, I researched "veterinarians on call in the Regen area" online. Her number was displayed, and I called. On the first call, she said, and I quote: "We'll have to wait and see. I'm not a clairvoyant." I didn't ask for rude answers, nor for a session with her using her crystal ball as a clairvoyant. We were truly desperate; we called veterinarians in the entire area but couldn't reach anyone. A friend of ours is a veterinarian, but he was attending a seminar, unfortunately, not nearby. So I called this vet again, because the on-call veterinarian had previously said we had to go to the veterinary clinic in Regensburg. This veterinary clinic isn't staffed; the ones in Munich and Nuremberg would be the closest, but she was already in very weak general condition. So I thought I'd call again, since the "friendly" veterinarian only explained to me on the first call that she wasn't a clairvoyant, but didn't tell me that she wasn't on call. I called and was addressed in such an unfriendly tone that, even though I I am very patient and friendly, but also became a bit unfriendly, and she asked why, as a practicing veterinarian, she doesn't know how to deal with relatives in such a stressful situation, regardless of whether she's on call or not. I didn't know that her "friendliness" probably isn't there either and only returns during office hours! She said that she wasn't on call. I told her I couldn't help it that she wasn't on call. If it shows up on Google, I'll assume so. She then said that it wasn't her fault, in a very snippy way, but she definitely can handle her behavior and the way she expresses herself. We were totally desperate and completely worn out. Then she suggested we read the newspaper to see who was on call, and she told us the name of her colleague who wasn't available. Perhaps she could activate her answering machine when she wasn't on call, instead of advising families during a complicated birth to look in the newspaper. After reading reviews about her, saying that she reacts aggressively towards animals when they are unsettled, I'm glad she didn't A friend of the family also told us about her experience, which wasn't particularly rosy either. We then went to a vet who was very kind and compassionate and saved the lives of our dog and the six puppies. She was also horrified by her behavior. If I had actually contacted a clairvoyant beforehand, she would have been able to tell me that it would be better not to call her. I'm really very calm and patient, rather introverted, but in this situation I couldn't stay calm while we were being told to read the newspaper!!

A vet with a heart. My dog was very ill at night. No one answered the phone—not even the one on call. Dr. Wach immediately made time for us, even though she wasn't on duty. She was friendly to us and loving to our dog. She helped us tremendously. I can't express how grateful I am. I'd also like to say...all this WITHOUT taking any money out of our pockets. At night—on a holiday—she wasn't actually on duty—she was extremely friendly and helpful, and she was truly medically experienced and knew immediately what was going on. She offered us all of this and certainly hardly deserves anything for the price. I will only go there in the future. My dog was treated with such loving care, something I have never experienced before. Thank you from the bottom of my heart—Best regards, Goldie Dame Fee

Dr. Carola Wach has been my vet for 28 years, she's always been good to my dogs, and she's also affordable compared to a vet in Geiersthal who charged me a fortune for epilepsy. I swear by Dr. Carola Wach in Regen. Sorry, best regards, Petra
