Katharina Kohlrusch Tierärztin

Best vet in the Harz Mountains! We've been going to Katharina for over nine years now, even though it takes us almost an hour to get there. But that doesn't matter. Katharina is a super kind, empathetic, and funny vet who always calms you down, even when other vets have made you totally anxious. Katharina is always very relaxed and has always been right so far. You can tell that she does her job out of love for animals and not to rip you off! We hope she'll be around for many, many more years!

She's very kind and takes her time with her animal patients. The practice is a bit rustic, but the care and prices are reasonable. There should be more veterinarians like her. I'm happy to drive an hour for that.

I'm visiting the area (unfortunately, only visiting). This vet is simply fantastic. I immediately felt in good hands. Of course, like other practices, it looks different from what you're used to, but it's not always perfect at home either. Maybe that's why I immediately felt at ease, because it's simply an honest practice. If I lived here, we would definitely go to this practice. My German Shepherd was very relaxed the whole time, which isn't something I'm used to at our vet's office. He was tense from day one. Thank you so much again 🙏 For your advice and the tick protection, ours is probably the wrong one here in the Harz Mountains 😅

We were very grateful that Ms. Kohlrusch opened her door at 8:30 pm for our emergency. She was very empathetic, and you could tell she enjoyed her job.
