A very competent and friendly veterinarian who is also familiar with the specific needs of greyhounds. I would gladly go there again anytime 👍

Dr. Hauk was a professional and organized veterinarian who always listened and thoughtfully considered each patient. Unfortunately, the new veterinarian is nothing like him. When a veterinarian dismisses my years of companionship with my pet and judges solely based on the current situation, that is anything but professional. She barely listened; it was always just about administering injections and medications. Of course, it's unpleasant to relieve a suffering animal, and it took me months of deliberation and courage before I could no longer bear to see the animal's suffering and finally went to my vet with this request. Since I was already registered at Dr. Hauk's address but didn't know the practice had changed veterinarians, it was naturally a significant adjustment for me in terms of trust. Well, the consultation was very unpleasant, as everything was dismissed right from the start because the animal appeared to be "alive." Of course, the consultation was very unpleasant because everything was dismissed immediately, as the animal seemed "alive." Of course it does that when it's completely pumped with adrenaline and has only seen its carrier every two to three years. I know my pet and my daily routine better than any vet in the world, and I found it outrageous that they tried to twist my opinion to push medications, injections, or tests costing thousands of euros on me, even though Dr. Hauk was already firmly convinced that, given the animal's health problems and age, it was absolutely pointless. Of course, an injection or medication might help in the short term, but it only prolongs the animal's suffering; that's all it does. It's clearly all about profit instead of thoughtful action. Everything seemed fine again on the first day after he got the injection, but after a few days, it started all over again, despite the pills and the injection. He started hiding, hissing at his housemates again, urinating everywhere he could, and having painful bowel movements infrequently, until he was barely visible anymore. Despite everything I described to this vet, she still insisted he was fine. On top of that, he had severe inflammation in his ear canals and a tumor on his jaw. His kidneys were very weak and his liver was damaged, but apparently, he was doing WELL. Go back to that vet only to have her downplay everything again? No, thank you. Instead, I tried to help him at home with some treatment, even though it cost me quite a bit of furniture and flooring because of all the urination. This has dragged on for months now, and it hasn't stopped. His condition has deteriorated significantly despite the treatments I've tried. I'm going to consult another vet, but I'm never setting foot in that one again.
