I called the vet's office to order three Simparica tablets for tick and flea protection (approx. €45 per tablet) and three deworming tablets, which my husband was supposed to pick up after work. The woman on the phone told me she'd get everything ready so I could have some peace and quiet, but that I should use Bravecto instead. I thought there wouldn't be much of a difference, and since this is my first dog, I'm not familiar with the prices. He (1.5 years old) has always received Simparica from another vet, and one tablet lasted me about two to three months before the effect started to wear off. Anyway, my husband paid €218 for four Bravecto tablets (approx. €50 each) and four deworming tablets! I think it's absolutely outrageous that we weren't informed about this significant price difference. ' ... On top of that, the tablets have a very short expiration date, and I have to give him the last one even though it expires this month. After several phone calls and requests for an exchange, I gave up. My dog ​​vomited after the first dose of Bravecto (he never did that with Simparica). According to the manufacturer, one Simparica tablet lasts one month for my dog, but it lasts considerably longer. Bravecto is supposed to last three months, but it probably works a bit longer, which would mean that if I were to delay using it like I did with Simparica, I would have to give my dog ​​expired medication. We don't compare prices in this case because our top priority is having complete trust in a competent team of veterinarians, knowing that we can get help at any time, even in an emergency, and that our dogs are treated with love and care. Overall, I have only positive things to say about the receptionists, the veterinarians, and the assistants. I've been there several times already. The prices are, well, debatable, but my dog ​​feels very well cared for and is treated with great affection. I will always go there. For me, it's the BEST veterinary practice.
