We've been taking our Australian Shepherd to Dr. Völzke's veterinary practice for many years now. Our dog is over 14 years old. Dr. Völzke is a compassionate and highly competent veterinarian. He always takes the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. The entire practice team is friendly and helpful. The calm atmosphere in the small practice is very pleasant. We feel very well cared for there!

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with this veterinary practice. I personally brought my acutely terminally ill dog to the practice. Although I was a regular patient there, I was turned away without an examination or assistance, on the grounds that I didn't have an appointment. Although I was referred to another veterinary clinic, by that time I was already at the practice with an obvious emergency. I cannot understand why, in such a situation, no first aid, a brief assessment, or even a sympathetic response was possible. Instead, I had to leave again, even though it involved a suffering animal and time was of the essence. Sadly, my dog ​​had to be euthanized that same day. I found the practice's handling of this situation extremely disappointing, both personally and professionally.

A very pleasant appointment! Scheduling was very quick. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly. And Dr. Völzke has an incredibly calm and gentle way with the animals. Highly recommended.

We've been taking our dogs and cats to this veterinary practice for many years, whether for chronic illnesses, acute emergencies, or necessary booster shots. The team is friendly, empathetic, and extremely competent. They offer helpful advice and support, and even offer encouragement when needed. The vet is professional and thorough in his diagnostic approach, and once the problems are identified, he explains them clearly. Often, several treatment options are available, demonstrating the practice's commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest scientific findings. If a specific procedure or treatment is required, they refer you to specialized colleagues. Their network is excellent, and the animals' well-being is clearly their top priority. For example, in an emergency, they rushed us to a veterinary hospital without delay, which ultimately saved our dog's life. This veterinary practice has our complete trust, and I would even go there myself for treatment. That's obviously not possible, which is why I'm deducting one star. But I'm adding a star because the vet managed to talk our chubby cat out of the overpriced liposuction. She doesn't need it at all and should just exercise. Thank you so much for everything! ❤️
