The best and kindest veterinary practice team I've ever seen, top-notch veterinarians! They care for your pets as if they were their own. From the moment you enter the clinic, you'll already feel that your pet is in good hands! Thank you so much for taking care of our Scotty (our dog) and Lily (our cat). We trust you completely to continue caring for our pets in the future.

Last night, we unfortunately had to take our beloved Golden Retriever, Murphy, for the last time. Car journeys usually involved an adventurous walk for him. Fortunately, Dr. Schmidtke was on call. We couldn't have wished for a better veterinarian for this terrible step. She was more than just compassionate. She enabled him to leave this world with dignity and completely pain-free. She was so calm about it, and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts! She gave us all the time in the world for this terrible decision and also for the farewell, even though it was so late in the evening/night. I would have loved to thank her again in person, but right now the situation is still hurting me far too much, and I wouldn't be able to get a word out, so I chose this route. The financial side of things was sorted out casually, which I really appreciated in his dire situation. Our beloved Murphy was her priority the whole time, not the payment! She puts her heart and soul into it, and that meant so much to us! Even though it was an emergency service, it was still a completely fair price—I even expected more. If we adopt another best friend, we would love to have Dr. Schmidtke as our future veterinarian. We were regulars at the vet's office for many years with our dog Lehmann, as his leishmaniasis required close veterinary care. Over the years, a wonderful, almost familial relationship developed, which is rare. Dr. Schmidtke always provided us with excellent and loving support. Because we were constantly searching together for ways to improve his treatment through further therapies, we also grew closer in our experience of dealing with this truly challenging disease. I think together we managed to wrest a few good years from the disease, years our dog otherwise wouldn't have had. Of course, Lehmann was never exactly thrilled when we had to return to the practice for his regular appointments, but everyone always took such loving care of him that he was always able to calmly endure unpleasant procedures like blood draws and urinary catheterization. Unfortunately, Dr. Schmidtke couldn't be with him in his final moments, as our dog's condition deteriorated too quickly – we wish she could have been there for Lehmann. Therefore, once again, thank you very much for everything, and when the time is right for a new pet, we will definitely go there again!
