Reviews
As non-clients, we had to use the emergency veterinary service for our dog Mina on a Sunday evening. After a telephone consultation, we received excellent advice and care on-site. We are very grateful and would highly recommend this practice.
I would give zero stars or less if I could. I called the emergency service and was practically brushed off, told I wasn't his patient (well, what's the emergency service for then?). Someone clearly couldn't be bothered. Then I had to listen to him tell me I should have taken better care of my dog (she was 18 years and 2 months old; I think I did everything right that you can). I can only advise against going to this doctor!
My dog Chapo and I are very satisfied with Mr. and Mrs. Rösel. I always feel that I receive advice that is in the best interests of the animal.
The practice is run by Mr. and Mrs. Rösel, both of whom hold doctorates in veterinary medicine (Dr. med. vet.). The practice has ample parking directly in front of the building. The entrance is at ground level with one step, and the examination rooms are located on the ground floor. We have been taking our pets (dogs and cats) there for almost 20 years. Both veterinarians have always been friendly and caring with our furry friends. Since they conduct the examinations together, we always felt reassured, as four eyes see more than two. We were thoroughly informed and explained about all diagnoses and findings. Even when we had questions, no matter how trivial, we always felt that our concerns as pet owners were taken seriously. When we brought our current pet (a two-year-old Chihuahua named Lucy) for her initial examination, we received comprehensive information about the breed-specific characteristics and potential problems of this breed. During the following examinations, we were clearly informed about our dog's excess weight and the consequences for her health. Dr. Rösel insisted that she lose weight, reducing it from 4.1 kg to 2.5 kg. Dr. Rösel's clear instructions were very direct. But it showed me that he was committed to our dog's well-being. We trust both Dr. Rösel and his team and would have our animals treated there without hesitation. Thank you for your excellent work. 🐶 🐾 🐶
Negative experience seeking veterinary care. We contacted this veterinarian in an acute emergency situation to obtain urgently needed medical care for our dog. The veterinarian limited himself to a telephone conversation; no physical examination of the patient took place. No clinical assessment of the animal's health was performed, no diagnostic measures were initiated, and no recommendations for emergency care were given. In effect, no medical assistance was provided. As a result of this inaction, valuable time crucial for treatment was lost. Such conduct does not meet the professional standards of a veterinarian. I expressly do not recommend this veterinarian for situations requiring timely and qualified veterinary care.
