Very friendly approach to both people and animals; all necessary medical procedures are explained clearly. Even seemingly minor issues are thoroughly investigated to determine the cause, and then treated consistently and effectively. A highly positive and genuinely recommendable veterinary practice!

Thank you very much I was able to get an appointment at short notice due to an emergency, and everyone was very friendly and professional.

Since October 2023, my little black cat, Otello, has been a patient of Dr. Voßmeyer. What can I say? I am completely satisfied with everything this doctor, her staff, and the practice's facilities have to offer. My kitten was five months old when I first visited Dr. Voßmeyer's practice on the recommendation of an acquaintance. I had brought him home from his mother two days earlier. He needed his first vaccination, a general check-up, a microchip, nail trimming, and neutering. Everything went smoothly. After filling the waiting time with some shopping and a visit to a friend, I was able to pick up Otello and the food I had ordered beforehand. The bill was quite high (but entirely appropriate for the treatments, including several months' worth of food), but I was happy that the little rascal had come through it all well. At home, he slept a little longer and was then wide awake, lively, and curious again. At the veterinary practice where I had previously taken my 19-year-old cat, they didn't want to do all four treatments in one day. This would have meant the trip each time, paying the €50 general examination each time, not to mention the stress I would have put my young pet, who was still getting used to me, through. Then, when the floods hit our district and I had Otello's second vaccination appointment, Dr. Voßmeyer kindly offered to drive a huge detour and treat him in her perfectly prepared car in an empty parking lot. There were several dogs and cats there, all needing just one vaccination, and everything was done in no time. That's what I call customer and animal care. Since then, Dr. Voßmeyer has been enjoying... I have complete trust in Dr. Voßmeyer and will remain loyal to this practice as a cat owner. I'm sorry I wrote so much, but I just had to get that off my chest. Interneten greetings and a hearty meow to "the three" from Lunsen.

So far, I've had nothing but positive impressions of the practice's facilities and the team's expertise. However, I wasn't satisfied with the way my dog's last treatment (1.5 years old) went. The dental cleaning was to remove heavy tartar buildup. Immediately at the practice, when I dropped the dog off in what was already a stressful situation for pet owners (anesthesia!), I was given various recommendations. They asked me what other measures I should take to reduce the risk of anesthesia as much as possible. The fact that these measures would ultimately cost more than the dental cleaning itself was not explained at this point. Ultimately, I paid over €1,000 in total. To justify this high sum to my pet insurance company, I asked for an explanatory text explaining the medical necessity. I then received a 101-word email from Dr. Voßmeyer (no signed document, just the typed email) and another invoice for over €45 for the email. I was not informed that, after paying a four-figure sum for a treatment for which I wanted a few words of explanation, I would be billed again. These circumstances and handling lead to significant deductions in my overall rating.

It's indeed difficult to assess. I called ahead for an emergency on Friday afternoon. The practice was empty; first the administration, then the dog. Due to pain, the dog was uncooperative (herniated disc). The vet proceeded very hesitantly, with no support from the assistant present. Since the muzzle couldn't be applied, only painkillers were given, along with the recommendation to go to an animal hospital the following day if there was no improvement. I know the vet's hands are their livelihood, but with all due respect, I believe more could have been done with a little more effort. Nevertheless, thank you for your efforts.
