I took my 11-year-old Golden Retriever to the emergency vet today and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised after reading the reviews here. We received a warm welcome and the online registration process was incredibly easy. The consultation and examination were also excellent. The vet handled my dog ​​wonderfully and was very friendly. The price was easy to understand thanks to the invoice.

I have to say, I'm really disappointed, and not for the first time. But we thought, to save the animals a longer journey and even greater stress, we'd try here again. We were there today with our rabbits; one had lost fur and one had an inflamed eye. The examination was okay, but when it turned out that the poor little mice had mites, Mrs. Koch was happy to be able to see something under the microscope again. It's all well and good to be enthusiastic about nature, but to be honest, we were shocked and sad about it. Personally, I found it simply unprofessional. We were supposed to weigh all of our animals at home, as we also have rabbits at home that need treatment. We were supposed to contact them via WhatsApp, and based on the different weights, they would tell us what dosages we needed for our animals. There was no response, and it was before closing time because we were in a hurry. My call was then declined. I understand that veterinarians also want and deserve their time off, but agreements simply have to be kept. Especially since I had double-checked with the vet and the receptionist about the procedure. The eye was ignored until the very end, so I brought it up again, was briefly examined, and referred to another vet. That's fine, too; we'll be visiting him in the future anyway. Thankfully, we were able to find out how to use the medication from another practice before the weekend; after all, you want to be able to treat the animal promptly. I find this kind of behavior extremely outrageous. I can't recommend this for treating a rabbit; we will be visiting a practice that specializes in rabbits again in the future.
