Geng Veterinary Practice has been caring for our Rottweiler since he was a puppy. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice and couldn't imagine going to any other vet. It's simply fantastic to see the joy and dedication everyone puts into their work. Many thanks to the entire team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"I'm unlucky, or perhaps more accurately, a victim of human error." Hello, I'm Kebi. During a routine surgery, I suffered severe third-degree burns because the heating pad I lay on during and after the operation was set too hot for me. Well, the head vet and the operating vet disagree. One says it was a technical error, the other says the heating pad was set incorrectly. It was so bad; an area of about 80 square centimeters above my right lower back completely detached. I also had burns on the side of my right lower back and a few small burns on the side towards my chest. It's impossible to put into words how sad and terrible it is, all the pain and suffering I had to endure during the treatments and aftercare! Likewise, it was unacceptable that NO ONE at the practice even considered it worth mentioning, expressing regret about this "incident," offering an apology or anything similar for me, for my owners. No one took any responsibility. Instead, my owner had to listen to the veterinary director tell me in a phone call: "Because of pet owners like you, Ms. W., veterinarians like me have lost all interest in our work..." During the call, my owner simply pointed out that, in addition to the costs of the emergency surgery and bandage changes (which were covered by the practice), we wanted reimbursement for other demonstrably incurred expenses (due to this treatment error). Further costs are also currently unknown. She responded to this with a mocking laugh, was incredibly rude and unfriendly. Just because we want justice? Just because we want someone to finally take a stand? Just because someone feels "responsible" for what happened to me? Despite the terrible incident, my owners were always willing to communicate clearly and openly. If you do something like that to me, then you have to listen to everything we have to say about it! It was also clear that for them it was just a "job": What unempathetic and narcissistic behavior! For all of us, this matter is now closed for the time being, and with a lot of luck, it turned out quite well – but as they say, you always meet twice in life. We've also thankfully found a really great and very trustworthy veterinarian again. I like her! Guys, take care of us! My full story and some photos (with details) are on the Harzer-Azawakhs website.

We visited today for the first time with our rabbit and weren't customers before. We didn't have an appointment and were seen immediately. The receptionist was very friendly, thank you again! 👍 We received excellent help. The vet was truly lovely.

Pony, dead – unfortunately, the carotid artery was punctured during an IV infusion and then injected, resulting in immediate collapse. Swelling and multiple puncture wounds on the carotid artery are clearly visible. No empathy, no apology, refusal to involve the practice's insurance – I've been told this happens frequently with different vets at this practice?! The attending vet left me alone with the dying pony, saying he had another emergency in Osterode??? What could be a worse emergency? This was a failure to render assistance!!! I've calculated the vet bills against the value of the animal (without yet claiming damages) – no understanding whatsoever!!! Never again...
