Dr. Sonja Klaus was so kind and understanding. Her staff was courteous and considerate with us as we had plenty of questions regarding EU Dog Passport. We are very thankful to have such a great vet to assist us with this process. Thank you!

The doctor was very nice. She explained us everything connected with regulations and documents needed for dog after moving to Germany and patiently answered all our questions about local rules of dog treatment. She has rather big variety of medicaments in stock which is very convenient as you can buy everything in one place during the consultation.

Regrettably, we find ourselves compelled to share a less-than-satisfactory review today. Our family comprises three cats— one mother cat and two kittens— all under the care of Doctor Klaus. Generally, our experience with Dr. Klaus was positive, particularly following the castration of our male kitten. The healing was fast. The pricing there was reasonable, and the waiting times were brief. Staffs and doctor are very friendly and speak English. Overall, our cats all like Dr. Klaus. However, on Friday, February (02), we brought our mother cat for neutering. Initially, she was in good health, but after just one day, her condition took a downturn. During a follow-up appointment on Monday (05), we communicated her symptoms, including rapid breathing, to Dr. Klaus. The doctor conducted a general examination and assured us that everything was fine, attributing the shortness of breath to the recovery suit or hormonal changes. Unfortunately, the examination did not include a check of her lungs. Tragically, on Tuesday, February (06), our mother cat, Umii, deteriorated rapidly and, heartbreakingly, passed away. This has left us devastated, especially considering we had sought reassurance just a day before, only to be told that all was well. Subsequent to this, doctor at the emergency indicated that Umii's reaction to anesthesia might have been the cause. Unfortunately, due to the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Umii, we feel compelled to give the practice only one star in our review. The emotional toll of this experience has left us deeply saddened and has significantly impacted our perception of the overall care provided and too traumatized to consider returning to Dr. Klaus's practice. We cannot speak to whether other doctors might have handled the situation differently, but we hope that our feedback serves as a reminder of the importance of thorough examinations and heightened observation to prevent similar tragedies in the future. Excellent vet! Dr. Sonja Klaus is a kind, thoughtful, and intelligent veterinarian surrounded by a great team. Our very skiddish cat, who has no problem slapping people with her claws out, curled up with her during the exam. Her interactions with our little, old, dog were also full of compassion and consideration. We are very thankful to have such a great vet in the neighborhood. It’s a weight lifted off our shoulders.
