A complete and utter disaster! We called as an emergency because our dog was breathing very rapidly and heavily in his abdomen. On the phone, I was told that dogs pant and that it's normal. (I've had this dog for 13 years – I know what panting looks like!) My husband then called again because we were really worried and wanted him examined. The person on the other end just grumbled irritably into the phone, "Yeah, if it's absolutely necessary, I can take a look at him." We politely declined and said we'd rather go to the veterinary clinic in Augsburg (AniCura). Given his lack of enthusiasm, we weren't sure he would even examine him properly. At AniCura, they were truly empathetic. It turned out that our dog had metastases in his lungs and only had a few days to live. In the end, it was only 24 hours. But this gave us the chance to say goodbye and give him a wonderful last day. That wouldn't have been possible in Meitingen. We will never again take a beloved pet to Dr. Scherfling.

Absolutely fantastic... so competent... without Ms. Radtke, who operated on our rabbit, he wouldn't be alive today! He was badly injured after a marten attack... even small animals are treated perfectly and with great care at this practice. Many thanks... our rabbit is happy again!
