We took our dog to the veterinary clinic in Harsefeld because no one in Stade would accept us. I suspected our dog had a bladder problem – and unfortunately, that turned out to be true. Thanks to the veterinarian's quick response and thorough examination, our dog received the necessary medication immediately. The infection didn't spread, and there were no complications. This clinic was the only one that accepted us without any problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this clinic.

I take my two budgies to Dr. Mischke for treatment, and I must say, I feel they (especially my Sunny) are in excellent hands. Even though expressing their preen glands is uncomfortable, it doesn't cause Sunny any pain. Since there's no one in my area who specializes in birds, I gladly make the long drive because I know my two little chirpers are taken seriously and treated well here, without anything being done that isn't in their best interest.

We had a bad experience. Unfortunately, I had to take my 15-year-old dog to the emergency vet. I had already informed my children, who were both present at the clinic, that we would have to say goodbye to him. The veterinarian there quickly made a diagnosis (technically sound and correct), but what followed were casual remarks about an all-inclusive stay at a clinic, since this diagnosed condition was supposedly so easy to treat. Naturally, we were led to believe that the animal would be admitted. The next morning, I received a call from another veterinarian at the clinic, saying how bad things actually were, etc. Three people would need to care for him, he was completely incapacitated. And now the best part: "My colleague already spoke with you about euthanasia yesterday!" No, her colleague made casual remarks about a vacation. We were all present as a family, and had the topic come up at any point, we would have let him go. Instead, he's lying in some box, and they make you feel guilty for choosing to have three caregivers looking after him... Now I've made an appointment for him to be euthanized, the whole family is there again, saying goodbye through tears, and the same vet from the emergency service shows up and says we can reconsider, we can give him two more days here. I seriously wonder if they enjoy simply making money off emotionally charged, grieving pet owners, that's all it was. And spreading false information. They didn't even offer the option of euthanasia on Sunday at the emergency service. They should be ashamed of themselves for their behavior on Monday, when they again offered my children the option of admitting him and continuing his treatment.

I went there with my dog, suspected of having heart problems. The vet and the team were very kind, understanding, competent, and helpful. Everything was explained to me in detail, which is very important to me personally. I can only recommend the practice.
