Reviews
We went to the practice on Sunday with our little 13-year-old dog because she wasn't feeling well. We thank Dr. Bloßfeld with all her heart for lovingly relieving our dog of her pain after the examination and consultation and accompanying her across the dog rainbow bridge with us. We can only recommend the practice. Unfortunately, I had to write this review in English because Google said it would violate the law in German.
Very compasive people. They love what they do, they love animals. At the end we needed to euthanase our dog-ther... but they were amazingly patient with us. Help us during our emergency visits for eight days... we all tried hard and I will always be greatful for what they did... RIP my dear dog.
We have visited a few vet clinics in the area but this is my dogs primary care provider. They really provide superior care for the local area in my opinion. This clinic has the kindest and most welcoming staff. We have always gotten and appointment in a reasonable amount of time for the type of appointment we need. We often potential ear infection or anal gland expression appointments. I have never been offered an appointment later than the following day, and often same day for those concerns. They provide very thorough and logical care. No unnecessary tests or diagnostics. My dog was very ill earlier this year. We saw a local emergency vet the night before and our concerns were not addressed. Thankfully Kleintierzentrum saw her the next morning and admitted her. She was able to come home that night feeling much better. I’m really grateful for this practice and their kind staff.
I have been twice to the clinic and both times the vets were arrogant (different vets). First time the female vet was so short with me and as soon as she diagnosed that my cat needed a ~1500€surgery, all of a sudden she became more talkative.... Second time, my cat needed 12000€ dental work and the vet (male) was really short with me and kind of roll his eyes to all my questions. I felt so attacked and disrespected. I was so close to telling him about himself. Bottomline, I hate that clinic. Too expensive. Unprofessional. Money oriented. The receptionist were nice both times. I hope they get a promotion over the bad vets.
I brought my 18-year-old cat here for anemia and infection. After starting antibiotics, he began improving and his blood test showed early regeneration. The clinic then gave him corticosteroids (cortisol and prednisolone) without clearly explaining the risks of using steroids during an active infection in an elderly cat. After the steroid treatment, his condition declined quickly, and he passed away 13 days later. When I asked about a possible connection, my concerns were dismissed. Based on this experience, I no longer trust this clinic and will not return.
