When I tried to make an appointment at the vascular surgery clinic in Pritzwalk with a referral from my family doctor, I was very curtly asked if I wanted to have surgery. I replied that I would prefer a consultation first. The nurse then said to me, "You're here with the surgeon, and they want to operate. You wouldn't go to the hairdresser and get your hair cut, would you?" Afterward, I was sent to another vascular surgeon. That's one way to brush off patients.
