Just called to get some help with a dying cat on the street. Very friendly and helpful reply.
There's nothing wrong with the doctor personally, just with the practice. Everyone's time is valuable, not just a doctor's! I had a free appointment and had to wait an hour and a half. That's not how it works. I came home from work early to drop off the dog, but the staff there have no idea what it means to be punctual or respectful. The practice opens at 3:30 p.m., and our appointment was for 3:30 p.m. We arrived at 3:20 p.m., and everyone was called ahead of us in line. The practice staff are young; they still need to learn how to be nice.
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this veterinary practice. The staff were generally friendly and seemed professional at first. However, my 6-month-old Ragdoll kitten died unexpectedly during his neutering procedure. According to the vet, he had been thoroughly examined by three people beforehand, and there was no sign of any illness or other problems. In other words, the kitten was perfectly healthy and fit. The vet couldn't explain the cause of his death, which struck me as very odd, since neutering is a routine operation. She then tried to explain it away, blaming it on the Ragdoll breed. The vet also became somewhat nervous when we considered taking legal action, as the whole situation seemed very strange to us. Normally, nothing should go wrong during neutering, and I've never heard of anything like this happening. I will certainly not be going back to this practice, and I personally cannot recommend it!
I am so grateful for the quick and competent help from this veterinarian. My guinea pigs (male and female) were suffering from severe itching, bleeding scabs, mange mites, and scaly skin. They were also experiencing painful cramps. The veterinarian acted immediately and gave them drops behind their ears. They stopped scratching very quickly, and the cramps disappeared. It's clear she has a lot of experience and truly cares about the animals' well-being. She is very friendly, empathetic, and helped quickly. I am very happy and wholeheartedly recommend her!
