Medivet Tierarztpraxis Elmshorn

This was our third visit to the practice, and each time our 8-month-old male cat, Gizmo, received excellent care. The entire practice team is very nice and friendly and makes every effort to take good care of the animals. We highly recommend this practice.

First visit today with my little French Bulldog (15 weeks old). Everyone was very kind and friendly. However, I'm deducting one star because there's a door in the waiting room right by the reception desk, behind which there seems to be a rather large dog that barks so loudly if you stand too close that I was startled and my little Bulldog got scared and tried to run away. So I had to pick her up to pay my bill.

We were there with our old dog, who suddenly started limping badly. We waited a good 20 minutes in the waiting room because a previous customer was taking up a lot of time at the counter. When she finally left, we were asked what could be done for us. Our dog could barely walk. She was hopping on three legs and was obviously in a lot of pain. Then we were told: "We're sorry, but we're fully booked today. Try another vet!" What can I say? We were speechless! Sorry, but that's just unacceptable!!! I will never, ever set foot in that practice again. It's a shame I have to give one star to write a review. A receptionist who turns patients away? Refusing to help. Sad, sad. P.S. The waiting room was empty, by the way. They probably just wanted to close up shop early!

We can absolutely recommend this practice. We felt incredibly well cared for, understood, and safe at all times. At our dog's last appointment, we were treated with love, warmth, and genuine compassion. If I could, I would give many more stars. A huge thank you again to the entire team!

It was my first time there, and unfortunately, it was for a very sad reason: I had to have my hamster put down. But I want to give a huge shout-out to the understanding and compassionate team! Hardly any other veterinarian has ever treated my little furry friends with such love, and I was also wonderfully cared for! I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice and would also like to say thank you again for the rainbow-themed post!
