Pferde- und Chiropraxis Dr. Doreen Seelemeyer

Dr. Seelemeyer was here today to treat two horses chiropractically. We felt very well cared for. She was very attuned to the animals and provided us with excellent help, as well as giving us valuable training suggestions. No question was too silly; she was patient with both the horses and us. We are very much looking forward to our follow-up appointment! (2024) Update: Dr. Seelemeyer is, in my opinion, an absolute exception compared to other practitioners. From the very first moment, you notice that she not only has tremendous empathy when working with horses, but also a deep, sound understanding of anatomy and biomechanics. What makes her particularly special, in my view, is that she is not "just" a chiropractor, but a licensed veterinarian – and you can see that in every movement she makes. She always considers the horse as a whole, combines her veterinary knowledge with chiropractic precision, and clearly explains what she is doing and why. An appointment with her is not only good for the horse, but also for your own knowledge. With my gelding, the difference after the treatment was once again clearly noticeable: He immediately moved more freely, was more relaxed, and seemed visibly more content. You can simply tell that someone is at work here who truly knows what they're doing – not just from experience, but from a solid medical background. I am thrilled with her expertise, her calm and respectful manner, and the tangible effects of her treatment. I was there today because of blockages and stiffness in our French Bulldog Hilde's back and tailbone area. For the past week, she'd been showing increasingly noticeable changes in her gait and posture. After extensive treatment to release some blockages, Hilde was walking much better again. It was truly the right decision to take this step today and entrust our Hilde to Ms. Seelemeyer's expert hands. Thank you so much, and if it helped, we'll certainly see each other every six months.
