Our mare had to be admitted to intensive care with severe colic, along with her six-week-old foal. The prognosis was really bad. All the staff were incredibly kind and did everything they could to save Princess Fayola. We felt very well cared for and brought home a healthy mare and her foal. We couldn't be more grateful!
I've taken my horse to the clinic several times. The treatment itself was fine, but despite repeated requests, I haven't received a report. I've emailed the documents multiple times and haven't received any response, not even an acknowledgment of receipt. The veterinary care was excellent (Dr. Wirth was the one who treated me), but the follow-up communication was unfortunately very poor – and both are essential aspects of a clinic, in my opinion. These documents are crucial for further treatment. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend this clinic.
I felt completely at ease with my pony at the clinic. Since it was initially unclear what was wrong with my pony, we had many unanswered questions. Dr. Gerdes was incredibly friendly, extremely open, and transparent from the very beginning. She discussed all diagnostic options in great detail and explained each step clearly. Examinations were only performed after prior consultation with me. As a definitive diagnosis couldn't be made initially, an additional gastroscopy was necessary, which was performed by Dr. Wirth. Here, too, I felt exceptionally well cared for – plenty of time was taken, everything was explained clearly, and all treatment options were carefully discussed. I would also like to especially commend the consistently warm and helpful team at reception, who always tried to assist me. 😊
My horse had arthroscopy, and this was by far the best clinic in the entire area in terms of value for money. Aside from that, the attending veterinarian, Dr. Lichtenberg, was simply very, very friendly and competent. My regular vet could have done the follow-up appointment, but I made a special trip there. All in all, highly recommended!
We brought our dog in because of a badly bleeding injury. Our Rocky was seen immediately and received excellent treatment, so we were able to take him home right away. Thank you, and please keep up the good work!
