Reviews
I've known Dietmar for many years and have taken various animals there – rabbits, chickens, dogs, horses, etc. He always gives his best and is absolutely not the gruff person two people here are making him out to be. Some pet owners might expect the impossible or not always be kind and approachable, and it's always a two-way street. He always asks beforehand if an animal shouldn't be euthanized and doesn't just do it lightly! The practice is always very helpful, and everyone is very friendly and competent.
There was apparently a misunderstanding during the euthanasia of a guinea pig, and the animal was put down very quickly without giving the owners time to say goodbye or even catch their breath. When I later inquired about the procedure, why it had to be done so quickly, and that the owners were shocked because they hadn't expected the injection at that moment, the only response was, "Well, then go to your vet next time." The general explanation was simply that it had to be done and that it had been mentioned briefly beforehand. This is to say nothing of the rough handling of the guinea pig during the "treatment." Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this service—at least not for pets.
Now I'm finally taking the time to write a review. I own about 40 animals and am very satisfied! My old beagle's life has been saved twice. My other beagle has had several surgeries, which weren't always easy due to Samus's heart condition. Our piglet has also received help multiple times, as have our chickens, cat, rabbit... I feel very comfortable in the bright practice; there's also plenty of space to give the animals room to move around. The parking is excellent! If I can't make it to the appointment, I receive the medication by mail immediately. I really appreciate this service! Furthermore, the entire team is very friendly, empathetic, and accommodating. A very heartfelt thank you for that!
I've never experienced such a kind and helpful veterinary practice. Here, animal welfare is truly a top priority. I will recommend you to others because what you did for my dog is priceless. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
TOP!!!
