My mother's dog was neutered by Dr. Winck due to a malignant tumor. She had previously been treated for years at a veterinary clinic that never truly considered neutering necessary. In addition, her dog suffered from constant ear infections, which required her to visit the clinic regularlyâand very expensivelyâevery eight weeks. With Dr. Winck, however, everything went perfectly from the very beginning. The surgery was absolutely problem-free. Her dog didn't have to wear a collar or bodysuit, and yet he didn't lick the wound onceâthe scar healed perfectly. And best of all, he hasn't had a single ear infection since. My mother is more than satisfied with the professional expertise, the friendliness, and the value for money. She is very grateful to have finally found a veterinarian who makes both humans and animals feel completely in good hands. Thank you so much âïžâïžâïž
Can't complain...getting an appointment at short notice...that's not possible in other practices...the doctor is very competent...the assistant is nice and friendly...we will continue to go there in the future!
NEVER AGAIN! After my cat was neutered and vaccinated, and Dr. Wink said the cat didn't need a buddy or collar after the surgery, I went back four weeks later to have it checked out. I pointed out to him that the wound hadn't healed yet. He told me it wasn't that serious and would heal in the next few days. At my insistence, he first gave my cat the vaccination and then injected the same area with antibiotics using the same syringe. When the area on her neck became infected the next day, I went to another vet, where I also showed the doctor the area on her stomach! He then said she urgently needed antibiotics and painkillers and that she needed to wear a buddy because the wound was on the verge of becoming irritated and the muscles were already visible. I should be careful, as if it continued to worsen, she might need emergency surgery. Luckily, she didn't need it. I don't want to know what would have happened if I hadn't gone to my vet and listened to Dr. Wink.
I went there for the first time last week because our usual vet was closed. I went back today for a check-up with the cat. I'm really impressed, he's a great vet. I'll probably continue going there from now on.
Since the dog is new, we've only had two experiences. But the practice makes a very pleasant impression. Even the ladies at the reception desk were very friendly and straightforward. None of the over-the-top fuss we were used to with the cat at our old practice. The doctor himself is down-to-earth, humorous, and practical. We like that. It's nice that something so normal still exists!
